So I was writing my harlequin Kradam fic (so late omg...) /o\ when this sudden urge to write a drabble based off of Tiffany's - I Think We're Alone Now hit me and I just had to write it down real quick.
I was watching music videos for one-hit wonders with my dad the other day. lol.
Title: I Think We're Alone Now
Author:
shatteredmemrysPairing: Kradam - Kris/Adam - American Idol
Words: 1431~
Rating: PG-13
Summary: based off of Tiffany's song... (which has absolutely no huge plot at all) a HS!AU...fluff. :D This covers one of my squares for
kissbingo (finally. /o\ ) /slowest writer ever
Adam enjoyed kissing Kris, and from the way Kris was making little sounds at the back of his throat, Adam was pretty sure that Kris enjoyed being kissed, too.
He licks into his boyfriend’s mouth slowly, from one side of his mouth to the other and laughs softly to himself when Kris makes a small gasp - which may or may not have to do with the fact that Adam’s hand totally just not-so-accidentally brushed against the zipper of his pants. His boyfriend could be so cute and innocent sometimes.
“You like that, baby?” Adam purrs, pulling back slightly and dropping his gaze to eye the pretty collarbone that was teasing him from just under Kris’ plaid shirt.
Kris gulps and nods, slowly. He lets out a breathy “yeah..” and then waits two more seconds before turning a soft pink and whispering, “ah..more.”
Adam chuckles to himself as he un-does two of Kris’ buttons and then leans down to suck at Kris’ soft golden skin, just low enough that no one will notice once he marks his territory. Kris whines and makes an attempt to grab at Adam’s hand.
Adam gets the idea, first, however and he roughly palms Kris through his jeans, causing Kris to let out a moan. Adam bites him sharply, then - “Ouch- hey! That hurt!”
“Parents are home,” he mumbles against the skin before placing a kiss at the now faint-purple marking. He leans forward and places a soft kiss on Kris’ lips, “or do we not remember in our acts of sluttiness, Kristopher?” He is now stroking Kris through his pants, and normally Kris would be embarrassed at how his hips were rutting against Adam so eagerly, but dammit, Adam was graduating this year and he isn’t about to deny him anything- that is… if anything was actually happening..
“We can be quiet?” Kris offers sheepishly, but Adam shakes his head and pulls his hand away from Kris’ crotch in exchange for holding Kris’ head between his two hands. He’s still completely dominating Kris and it’s really distracting to be thinking of any thoughts other than your boyfriend’s hand down your pants, especially when your boyfriend was someone right on top of you and as alluring as Adam Lambert.
“Not today, baby.”
Kris pouts.
Adam kisses the side of his mouth, “Don’t give me that look.”
“You’re going to seriously make me have a case of blue balls, dude.”
Adam kisses him again, this time right on the lips and a little more forceful, “Dude? Seriously Kris?”
The door to Adam’s room opens suddenly and Kris feels like he has just had a bucket of ice-cold water dumped over him, no longer completely drunk-silly over Adam’s overwhelming warmth and scent.
Leila is at the door and she’s analyzing Adam’s overly-compensating look of innocence and Kris’ frazzled appearance. If they were to tell her anything otherwise, she wouldn’t believe them.
“Adam, your dad and I are going to Neil’s science fair now.”
“Yeah okay,” Adam says, not really looking at her or listening, but smirking at Kris’ pinkened expression. Oh he was so pretty like that…maybe he could make an exception after all..
She knows that he’s not listening so she looks over at Kris, instead, and gives him a smile. He’d listen thanks to his southern roots. “Hello Kris, how’s Kim?”
Adam thought his boyfriend was cute before? Strike that, he just got ten times cuter as he started to stutter and straighten himself up. “O-oh..uhm… sh-she’s fine. She and my uhh.. dad are at the A-Aztec’s game with Daniel right now..” he puts a hand behind his neck and dares to look up at her. “Er..she says to tell you ‘hi.’”
Leila smiles again and then turns back to Adam, her expression now more serious, “Adam I hope you’re using condoms.”
Adam’s eyes widen as he snaps his head back to her and Kris nearly falls off the couch.
“Mom!” He’s suddenly flustered and Kris has never thought that it was possible for Adam to get that way. He’s usually so calm and collected, and yeah, maybe sometimes he got high-strung, but he was never…well, embarrassed to this extent. (Kris has only made him blush a few times.. like when he hand-picked flowers and wrote him a song for their six-month anniversary.)
“I’m serious Adam! Those are very important to have.” She looks at her wristwatch and then back at the two very embarrassed teenagers. “I’ll ask your dad to stop at the store on the way to the fair and I’ll pick you up a few.”
“Mom, out!” He’s standing up and he’s leading her back to the door.
“You’ll thank me later, Adam,” she peeks over Adam’s shoulder and looks back at Kris and says, “nice seeing you Kris, tell your mom I said ‘I’ll call her tomorrow.’”
And then she drops the real bomb, pointing between both her livid son and Kris, “You two behave. I don’t think I have to tell you two to watch how you play. Especially now that you’re seventeen going on eighteen, Adam.” She’s about to leave but then she pulls Adam closer and says not any quieter, “Just call me and tell me what size you think you need, okay? And be reasonable.” She kisses him on the cheek and laughs to herself, even though she’s on the receiving end of one of the most deadliest glares ever, and then leaves.
Adam closes the door and then turns around, hands in his hair, face livid, and tone exasperated, “I’m going to kill her.”
Kris is right next to him now and he’s wrapping his arms around Adam’s waist, “Well that wasn’t awkward.”
Adam laughs and Kris’ face brightens, because it wasn’t really that funny, but Adam is burying his face in Kris’ shoulder and he’s starting to think that he’s kinda really in love with Adam.
Adam grabs his hand. “Let’s go.”

Kris doesn’t actually know what time it is - time was the last thing on his mind when in Adam’s room - but the night sky seems to be even darker than usual. Except for the fact that all of the stars were out and bright and just absolutely brilliant. They kind of reminded him of Adam’s eyes.
“Kris, keep up.”
They’re wandering the streets, hand-in-hand… okay, so maybe it’s more like running just as fast as they can…and then Adam is pulling him towards a park, where the trees are plentiful and if they went just deep enough, there would be the lake that belonged to the golf-courses just across the water. Living in the suburban areas of Rancho Peñasquitos had its perks.
Adam finds an appropriate place to stop apparently, because then he pulls Kris into his arms and they tumble onto the ground, Kris landing on top of him. They’re breathless, a little slap-happy, even, and after a few moments of giggling, Adam whispers, “I think we’re alone now.”
Kris looks up at Adam and then at the trees that are secluding them from the rest of the world, hiding whatever it was that they were doing. It’s so quiet, and there doesn’t seem to be anyone around. No crickets are chirping, nor is even a night owl flapping its wings in the sky. The lake doesn’t even have anything in it, only the reflection of the moon.
Kris whispers back, “I think so, too.”
Adam reaches up and tangles his fingers in the soft hair at the back of Kris’ neck, that’s starting to curl at the ends, and pulls his face down to meet his.
The kiss is soft, and sweet, and perfect; anything from heated and passionate, and yet it still leaves Kris feeling dizzy. If someone caught them, what would they say? Would Kris even care what they had to say?
They become silent and then Kris cuddles into Adam’s chest, resting his head and just listening. Adam’s arms tighten around Kris’ small form and he does the same.
The beating of their hearts is the only sound. Ba-thump, Ba-thump, Ba-thump. A matching beat. And Kris realizes his answer. No, he wouldn’t. Because right now, Adam’s arms were the best place in the world that he could possibly imagine staying in for the rest of his life. He’ll deal with the whole “having to go home later tonight” and “eventually letting Adam graduate sometime this year,” situations, later.
Adam’s breathing is becoming softer, and his soothing touches to Kris’ lower back are slowing down.
Kris secretly hopes they just fall asleep like this and someone does find them.
