Yesterday, my boss asked me not to pack lunch for today and join them for lunch. And being the good employee that I am (yeah, right!), I obeyed. Haha. They wanted to go Japanese. I am okay withe idea but I think I would shame myself because I don't know if I still remember how to use chopsticks. But what the hell, right?
Anyway, we went to Teriyaki Boy. There were six of us: Ms. Mercie (my boss), Ate Alma and Ate Miggie (my co-workers), Ms. Cecile and Ms. Cris (my boss' friends). Luckily, I still had a firm grip for the chopsticks. Haha. I didn't shame myself much, I hope. Haha.
We ate a LOT. Haha. We ordered like 6 plates of different rolls. Delicious! Haha.
Anyway, payment time. They didn't let me pay. Haha. They said they don't let interns pay (so hoorah! for me). But they jokingly asked me to get a discount for them to Cagayan De Oro. Haha. (For those who don't know, my mom works at a travel agency.)
Anyway, there. I got free lunch. Haha. Ergo, whoever said that you can't get free lunch anymore, haven't worked for IOM.
