ive considered putting this into my lj for a while now cuz i thought it was amusing.
this was a conversation a few days after bringing my car like 45 mins away to the best dealership around to get some warranty work done on it... we had stopped at mcdonalds for dinner on the way home and some kid was screaming cuz he hadnt gotten his way....
me: you know, that kid at mcdonalds really needed to be taken outside and told dinner was over for him. people should not let their kids sit there screaming in a public place. its rude to the other people.
nick: yeah. people dont hit their kids anymore cuz its "child abuse"
*pause*
me: if we ever have kids, we're gonna be mean parents....
nick: yeah we are. but at least they'll turn out right.
me (laughing): yeah. i know i did.
nick: me too.
me: yep, we certainly did.
it was something to that effect...
yeah i know i dont post for months and then i do twice in one day... lol
