I've got mine but I want more

I've never been vacationing at the beach since that seems redundant when you live in Florida. Now that we're closer to mountains we're vacationing at the beach starting tomorrow through Tuesday. My perception of this vacation is tremendously askew. Everytime I picture the beach I envision it dark and dreary, windy and ominous and brooding. With a lot of reading ensuing. And perhaps fighting with the waves.

South Carolina just seems like it would have these kinds of beaches all the time.
