words and dreams and a million screams
alright. well this is what goes on in the brennan household. i don't have an a/c in my room but i do have a computer, so it gets super hot, so i normally just sleep out in the living room and have a good time. however, every morning my dad comes out at 6:30 and starts putting the news on. normally this wouldn't be a big deal but my father's half deaf and he has to have the t.v. on max volume in order to hear it. so now i basically have an alarm at 6:30 and anytime i try to sleep in hear it's really uncofortable so i end up just staying up till i can sleep in my brother or my mom's bed. but now i have pink eye so i can't sleep in their beds, not until...3:30 pm today, at that point i will not be contagious anymore. so that's been my problem of the summer. aside from that i've been taking it easy, getting conjuctivitis and sore throats and colds and whatnot, and working on a musical i'm writing. i'll post it on this when i'm done. my ideal plan for the musical is to record the instrumental stuff in september then in october or november record all the vocals then film it in the middletown south library in winter. i'm not sure how if the librarians are gonna let me but i'll try and work my magic. it's about a school library and in evil librarian played by leah sugerman who runs the library and the after school detention. there's about 4 other characters too that i don't feel like talking about. but that's the jist of it. so yeah, that's what i've been doing. i forget the last time i updated but i'm assuming it was before last weekend if it wasn't disregard the following. we had a couple shows last weekend. friday was bad, saturday was awesome. saturday they gave free soda, brownies, water, and hot dogs to anyone in a band. if that's not a fantastic promotion company i do not know what is. burke's been gone for a good while now. it feels like i'm missing my left leg. i can still hop but it's just not the same as walking. bad analogy. i wish someone was awake who was up for grabbing mcgriddles...wait i'm still contagious, so if someone was awake i still wouldn't be able to go out with them...fuck. john mccain's a nice man, bill o'reilly's a douchebag. oh we went to diggins' house the other night and played trivial pursuit and had a great time. and me and mandee played team victory which consisted of dave and diggins and team eli, eli, claudia and leah. and team victory got all 6 pieces pretty early but kept on missing the middle question, and eventually mandee and myself got all 6 pieces and got too the middle and by this point team victory was more like team flustered because they probably had about 8 middle questions they missed. so we finally get to the middle and our question is "name all 4 pez flavors" and i said "strawberry, grape, lemon and orange" and then we got in a little discussion if it was strawberry or cherry and finally right as we came to our decission, claudia yelled something about grape and team flustered said that it was interference or something. so being the bigger man i decided to say "hey alright you guys knew we knew that question but i'll let you do that, because i am the bigger man" 45 minutes later team victory got a question and answered it right. but dagnabbit we won at heart. it was like the time rey mysterio won the world heavy weight title from ric flair at palm beach and then they robbed it from him. i don't remember how but they did. alright, i'm gonna find somewhere to sleep. night!
