I passed my school check ride. What an ordeal. I'm now all set to work on my instrument rating next semester. Except: I got an E-mail from my instructor saying that since my flight to Lake Ontario a few months back didn't count because I was 4 miles short of the 250 mile requirement. I wrongly assumed that the requirement was just 6 hours, so it's mostly my fault, but someone could have at least double checked for me. I'm going to try it again hopefully this week. The weather is going to be tough though. I'm going to PA this time around so the distance should be fine. It's just touch finding nice weather in both places.
