crazy women feelings...

the women in my house are really emotional tonight and it's hilarious.

I just got completely teary eyed at the story about Flat Stanley. incase you don't know who Flat Stanley is, he's a character in elementary school books about a boy who's basically...flat. the kids read the book then cut out their own Flat Stanley and send him with/to adults that or in a different town, state, country. The adults take pictures with Stanley and take him along to different places. Stanley is then sent back to the child with a letter and pictures of all the places they've been.

Well, here's the little girl's story:
Kemp gave her Flat Stanley to a close friend of her family, Eric Stevenson, last December. Stevenson used to live in Cincinnati but now calls Paris home.

When Stevenson made a trip to New York City, he decided to take some pictures of Flat Stanley in Times Square and send them to Gina when he returned to Paris. But Times Square wasn't the most exciting thing that happened to Stevenson, or Flat Stanley, that trip.

Stevenson was one of the 153 people who survived the US Airways emergency landing into the Hudson River.

While many people left their belongings on the plane, Stevenson was able to grab his briefcase with Flat Stanley inside. Both made it out in one piece.

Stevenson returned to Paris safely, with Flat Stanley in tow, and wrote an e-mail to Gina with the tale of his harrowing experience, as always, from Flat Stanley's perspective.

Here's the email "Stanley" sent.

Anyway, I thought that was a great story. Cam sent his Stanley to Jeff and he only visited the vending machine. lol

And Ashley! Made me laugh so hard I wanted to cry!
I was kidding with her about doing my old part in "To Kill A Mockingbird" of Helen, Tom's wife. She was laughing and I told her not to laugh, imagine that it's Daddy and he's about to go to jail for a crime that he didn't commit and he's most likely going to die...he walks into the court room and your eyes meet his...possibly for the last time. Then I said, "go!" She stands...she's supposed to say "Tom!" instead she yells "Daddy!" and starts balling her eyes out. LOL she starts yelling at me that I made her cry. i mean, tears were rolling, snot was flying, her face was red... and i was laughing my ass off.

it must be getting close to that time of the month. i don't think we could handle hallmark commercial...
