New Fish Parties Abound
Since our last edition there have been several New Fish Parties. These were held in relative secrecy as there were rumors of Danger. So far the only Danger that has Emerged has been a visit from a Stray Cat, who, it turned out, was not at all interested in the Fish. Mortimer Fish, shown here at his New Fish Party, expressed some anger at what he called a snub on the part of the Stray Cat.
"We want to be treated like the Fish we are!" he cried in a sudden outburst, "We have rights!" He spent his entire time at the party attempting to recruit a group of volunteers to present a set of demands to the Stray Cat. The demands included a request to be played with and possibly chewed. Later Mortimer was informed that his application to Fishland Security had been denied. He responded that he was forming a new group and possibly Political Party called Fish For Swishing, which would advocate for the right of Fishland Fish to be played with by Stray Cats.
In addition to the New Fish Parties for the public, which included the debut of a number of exclusive JTFish (designed and created by JT), there was one very private Party. Details below.
At this New Fish Party a large number of JTFish made their debut. In the upper left corner, Mortimer Fish is attempting to recruit some Wrms to his proposals (Mortimer is the Dark FIsh).

Quiet Welcome for Injured Fish
There was a small and quiet but impressive welcome party for some Fish who are now seasoned Travellers, having crossed the Seas twice already. The fish, and their escort, a Crocodile named Sam, were officially greeted at the Fishland's most prestigious Warm Currents Hospital. The Fish were examined before the party and it was determined that a small party would not adversely affect their conditions. The catwing had suffered extensive injuries and was admitted to intensive care after attending for a few minutes. The other Fish and Sam were greeted by acting president and current Prime Minister Gregar, who attended along with a security contingent. Wolf and Shashi also attended the event. The venerable Whalish the First was there, as were the doctors and nurse who will be working with the Fish. Hospital Administrator Ko assured both the Fish and the Acting President and Current Prime Minister that barring complications, the Fish should be healed and on their way within the next two to three weeks. Security was tight as there was rumored to be an attempt on the part of the Fish For Swishing to interview the Darwin Fish about their Experience of being Injured.
