Fishland News Update 2011-04-29
Hello and Welcome to Fishland News!
Today we have some Exclusive photos taken by our ace reporter and photographer. He was able to secure some Very Rare Photos of fish eggs. We will be featuring those photos from time to time as we are able to relate them to the Famous or Very Important Fish who were born from them. We also have some photos of Very Important Meetings in Fishland, as well as a rare sighting of the elusive Ice Fish.
We are uncertain of the Fish who were born from these eggs, so if you spot one, you can tell them we have their baby pictures! Our photographer expresses his apologies for the quality of the photos - he was in Great Peril when he took them and it takes him a Very Long Time to photoshop anything.
This is a picture of the Fish Egg Hatchery. You can see the Fish Swimmers (they couldn't be sitters) taking care of them and guarding them.
This is a picture of Indigo Elf and Little Indigo Elf meeting with some Pretty Fish and some Posh Fish. The Posh Fish are very polished - they are the orange ones. The meeting was held in secret because Indigo Elf and Little Indigo Elf have left for Australia! They left in secret because they do not have a crocodile to keep them safe; however they do have a military fish who will guard them and the Pretty Fish and the Posh Fish to keep them company while they sip lichen tea, which will be made by the Wrms. Since they did not have a crocodile to help them, they are hiding in a box that has an Implement, which they have decided will make anyone who threatens them "quiver" with fear.
There was only one problem with their plan - they left in such a hurry that the box is pointed a few degrees off. Thus it is entirely possible that they will make landfall near their destination, but not at it.
The good news is that they are traveling via Priority Currents, which flow faster than regular currents and they expect their trip will be very short.
This photo is of a second secret meeting. The fish in this meeting are very afraid of being Apprehended before they reach their destination. That is why they are not revealing it to anyone. They have hidden in a box as well, but theirs is smaller and heavier. However theirs also will be riding the Priority Current, albeit in a different direction. They have Wrms to accompany them, but in keeping with their destination, they will be eating xanthan crumpets with their lichen tea. Xanthan crumpets are quite delicious to Fish because ot their slimy, viscous texture.
Our final photo is of the elusive ice fish. Ice fish are born in the Freezer and have a very short lifespan. It is very difficult to photograph them so we are very grateful to Ace for having the patience and speed to wait for and capture these Fish in photos.
