"Then should I go in your place?"
Doojoon was not quite sure he heard right. He knew Junhyung. At least he thought he did. He was rather amused, and not to mention, confused, "Why'd someone like you want to go to a commoner's double date?"
Junhyung lifted up his shoulders, "I'm just curious and wanted to observe how a commoner's double date go on."
Kikwang gaped on Junhyung's words, understanding but, "Still, hyung. It's a gay one, in case you forgot."
Junhyung shrugged it off, "It's not like I haven't been into one."
Now the laid-back Dongwoon is curious, "You've been on a gay double date before?"
Junhyung answered with a grin, "To tell you the truth, I haven't, but wouldn't this be a good opportunity?"
Kikwang asked while staring at Junhyung, “Then, do you have a thing with that Hyunseung?”
Junhyung was a bit taken aback by the unexpected question, but he surpassed his surprise in split second and said, “No, Hyunseung has a boyfriend? That’s good for him.”
Dongwoon calmly stated, “But you do seem to be infatuated to that brunette.”
Junhyung was not liking where the conversation is going, where his sexual orientation was being questioned, “And what makes you think that? You know I date women, not pretty men, regardless how much his features resemble a girl.”
Doojoon asked, straight face to Junhyung, “Then are you trying to steal my blonde of sunshine?”
Junhyung blinked a few times, before registering the words, and burst out a laugh, “Why are you even asking it in the first place? I’m uninterested in your blonde of sunshine.” He said Yoseob’s pet name with a tad bit of mock and sarcasm.
Doojoon was even more confused now, “But that was the only reason you would want to go on the date.”
Junhyung pouted, “I said it already! I wanted to observe the commoner’s double date. Do you really think, I, would be trying to steal your boyfriend or because I would have a thing for Hyunseung?”
Doojoon muttered small enough, but audible to Junhyung, “Well, you seem to be in denial.”
“Aish, I don’t even want to talk about it anymore!” Junhyung furrowed his brows in distaste and slapped both hands to the table, making the other three winced on the action.
Kikwang then turned around to Doojoon, and asked, “Then are you going there, Hyung?”
Doojoon answered nonchalantly, “Depends on my mood.”
“Won’t Yoseob sulk or something if you don’t show up?” Dongwoon said.
Doojoon quirked up a brow, while giving a suspicious look to Dongwoon, “If he did sulk, why the hell would you care?”
Dongwoon lifted up his shoulders, “Just saying.”
“Yoseob's feelings are none of your business," Doojoon coldly stated.
Kikwang took notice of the sudden cold atmosphere and jumped in, "Easy there, tiger. No need to get all angry here."
Dongwoon almost made no movement or even blink to indicate if he's still alive, only glaring intensely at the elder from across of the table.
Doojoon scoffed and made his leave from the F4 headquarter, wondering to himself if he actually will go or not.
Finally, he took out a coin from his pocket, and decided to just flip it. Heads for go, and tails for no.
"Why are you even here again after hanging up on me yesterday?"
Yoseob put both hands on his hip and scowled.
"It was heads."
"What?"
"I flipped a coin, heads for go and tails for no."
Yoseob was doubting his ability to hear because that just didn't make any sense to him. He scoffed loudly and went to Hyunseung instead.
Hyunseung was checking his watch every five seconds. He was the one who suggested this double date, but he didn't know that Doojoon would accept the offer. And now that the F4 Leader has shown up, but his boyfriend was already an hour late, he felt really uncomfortable. He glanced left and right, hoping Seunghyun would somehow come into his view.
Doojoon tapped his feet impatiently before glaring to Hyunseung, "I didn't know late is the custom for you commoners."
Hyunseung's lips was put into a grim line, until someone he was really waiting for came into the view, he perked up.
"Seunghyun!"
Doojoon saw the changed expression of Hyunseung, looked over his shoulders and turned around, but was greeted by a scalding brown liquid pouring all over his Armani suit.
Both instinctive word was, "Fuck!"
Seunghyun who saw his hot coffee was spilt all over the stranger's cloth, blurted out, "Sorry."
Doojoon looked up from his stained clothes, and snarled in his deep voice, obviously unhappy of his brand new spoilt shirt, "Sorry? Do you think the word 'sorry' is enough? Why do you think polices exist?"
Seunghyun dropped his paper glass, and scoffed in disbelieve, "I said sorry. I have no intention to apologize further more. You should have watched where you're walking, *sshole."
Doojoon's eyes widened on the words, he shoved the rude stranger roughly on the shoulder, "What did you just call me? You better watch your words, boy."
"Boy? You're the one who better watch your tone, kid."
"Who are you calling kid?” Doojoon hung up his chin, obviously insulted.
Yoseob and Hyunseung were quickly alerted by their both short-tempered boyfriends. Both swiftly took the boyfriend by the waist to prevent any further fist fight.
Doojoon seemed to relax though when he felt Yoseob’s comforting touch, but his expression didn't drop and snarled to Seunghyun, “I really don’t like you.”
"Trust me. I don't like you any more than you do."
Seunghyun patted Hyunseung's palms that were pressed again in his abdomen, signaling it was okay to let him go.
Hyunseung did so, he released the embrace while a pout tug on his lips, "You said you would behave."
Seunghyun ruffled the brunette's hair affectionately, "That was not my fault. Blame that jerk."
When that was said, Hyunseung could saw on the corner of his eyes that Doojoon was trying to beat the snot out of him but fortunately was held back by Yoseob. He sighed, wondering was it really a bad idea to suggest this double date. It was the first time for Yoseob and him to have boyfriends at the same time after all.
Yoseob tugged on Doojoon's sleeve, and whispered to the other, "If you want, we can leave. I'm sure Hyunseung would understand if you can't level with us."
Doojoon felt insulted. He was very capable of adapting with any situations; at least he thinks he is. His lips just went forward too much until he’s pouting while talking, “What do you mean by that? I’m perfectly capable of leveling with you commoners.” He scoffed and walked past by the blonde, not forgetting to bump Yoseob a bit roughly on the shoulder.
Yoseob just scoffed in disbelieve, and resisted his urge to roll his eyes and turned on his heels, to where the Seung-couples are waiting.
“Don’t you have a slightest manner to apologize if you were an hour late?” Doojoon blatantly said out as he rose up his chin in front of Seunghyun.
Seunghyun was ready to release his ill words, but Hyunseung squeezed his palm lightly, a reminder of behaving himself. He coughed awkwardly and admitted defeat in a very soft voice, barely audible to Doojoon’s ear, “I’m sorry.”
Doojoon was quite unsatisfied, just before he started to demand another apology from Seunghyun, Yoseob covered his mouth before he could did so and smiled to Seunghyun, “I don’t believe we’ve been properly introduced.”
Hyunseung gasped and grinned awkwardly, “Seobbie, this is Seunghyun. Seunghyun, Yoseob. And that one there is Doojoon.”
Yoseob and Doojoon exchanged a handshake despite a death glare Doojoon was emitting when the dark haired male touched the blonde. Yoseob had to nudge Doojoon’s ribcage before Doojoon scrunched his face when he accepted the handshake, not letting go of his glare.
Hyunseung clapped his hands together, and grinned, “Now, where should we go?”
“I got it!”
Hyunseung let out a girly laugh as he hugged the blue dolphin doll that Seunghyun just got out from the doll-claw machine.
Yoseob gave an expectant stare to Doojoon, he himself wanted the yellow chick doll too from the machine.
Doojoon ignored the puppy eyes look Yoseob was giving him and scoffed, “What’s with that cheap thing? I’ll buy you an expensive one.”
Yoseob pouted, “It’s not the same, you fool.” The blonde stole a quick envious glance to the other couple, and with a huff, he inserted a coin to the machine, wanting to obtain the plushie by his own effort. But just before he could direct the leverage, Doojoon beat him to it.
“Any elementary student can do this,” Doojoon said with the obvious arrogance in his voice. But his smirk dropped when the claw released its grab from the legs of the plushie. He slapped the glass wall, while cursed the machine for being a cheater. And cursed another three times for failing to grab the d*mn doll.
Seunghyun gave a mock smile on the view. He shoved Doojoon to the side, while inserting another coin, and asked Yoseob, “Which one do you want?”
Yoseob blinked a few times before mumbling out, “That yellow chick one on the corner.”
Seunghyun narrowed his eyes as he expertly maneuvered the claw to the corner, and flawlessly grabbed the stuffed toy Yoseob wanted.
Yoseob giggled happily as he hugged the chick-doll, and smiled thankfully to Seunghyun. But his happiness didn’t last long because Doojoon snatched the yellow plushie from his arms and threw it on the floor.
Yoseob stared to Doojoon with disbelieve, “Yah! What do you think you are doing?” and then he picked up the toy again. This time putting them behind him so Doojoon couldn’t reach it.
“You ain’t taking any stuff that jerk got you.”
Seunghyun, who was aware of the jealous boyfriend, spoke out, “If only you could win it for him, he wouldn’t have to take anything from me."
“Why… You!”
Doojoon was ready to pounce on the other this time, but and that was the second time of four times Yoseob fortunately managed to prevent Doojoon from jumping on Seunghyun.
The drama was less heated when the couples reach the ice skating rink. They were rather enjoying the date by themselves, Hyunseung with Seunghyun, and Doojoon with Yoseob.
Despite his ‘Young Master’ look, Doojoon was good on ice. Like Kim Yuna good.
If it was not a public place, maybe Doojoon would be showcasing his skills to Yoseob there. But due to Yoseob’s pleading for not making a scene, the elder complied.
Yoseob had never been to ice skating before, but he didn’t get much trouble as he learnt quickly by Doojoon’s teaching. Doojoon guided the blonde by holding both of his hands, and Yoseob just followed along. It was quite a beautiful view, like the protective elder brother was teaching the cute little brother. A bunch of girls have been watching the four gorgeous looking men and giggled in happiness at the splendid view they were receiving.
Hyunseung and Seunghyun were nowhere in sight, and Yoseob was thankful. He didn’t know if he can handle another would-be fistfight. A rather chilly wind blew, and Yoseob shivered as he made some useless attempt to warm his fingers by blowing them, and cursing himself for forgetting to bring a glove today.
Doojoon, surprisingly, noticed this. He took the blonde’s hands into his, and put them inside the jacket, ignoring weak protests from Yoseob when he did so.
But now that Yoseob was welcomed by the warmth of Doojoon’s pocket, he giggled and put the other hand into the jacket too.
Doojoon snickered, “You didn’t bring your gloves so you could do this, huh?”
Yoseob just gave a disbelieving look to the other, but didn’t pull out the hands, they were warm and comfortable that way, but he abruptly pulled them out when he saw the Seung-couple approaching them.
Hyunseung just grinned on the action, it’s not often to see Yoseob shying away, mentally noted about teasing the blonde about this shying act later.
Seunghyun trailed along Hyunseung, slightly feeling bored. He poked Hyunseung from the back, and whispered, “I’m going to get us some drink.” Hyunseung nodded along.
“Where’s he going?” Yoseob asked Hyunseung as he saw Seunghyun leaving.
“He’s getting us some drink,” Hyunseung answered.
Yoseob nudged his boyfriend who pretended to not have heard anything, “Yah, you go help him too! You guys should learn how to get along well.”
Doojoon grunted in response but complied, he really hoped his urge to punch that guy in the face earlier has gone.
After Doojoon was not in the range of hearing, Hyunseung said, “I’m sorry to have suggested this.”
Yoseob gave Hyunseung a toothy grin, “Why sorry? It’s rather fun seeing those guys on each other throats.”
Hyunseung let out a nervous laugh, “Well, it’s rather touching to have that F4’s Yoon Doojoon to try match up the commoners’ date. I thought it was all over when Seunghyun spilt the coffee all over Doojoon.”
“Actually, I suggested us to leave, but Doojoon insisted to go through this whole thing.”
Hyunseung faced the blonde, and ruffled the hair, “Thanks Seobbie.”
Yoseob smiled in return, “Thank Doojoon, not me. Speaking of him, where are they? Grabbing some drinks shouldn’t take this long.”
Hyunseung glanced around, scanning the crowd, but he had no luck finding Doojoon and Seunghyun. He lifted up his shoulder, “I don’t see them anywhere. Let’s just check around the vending machine.”
They made their leave from the skating area, and searched for the vending machine. But nearly the place, there were already a commotion, not to mention the crowd for cheering at whatever they were witnessing.
Yoseob had a bad feeling. It can’t be…
And he just had to be right about it.
It was Doojoon, trying to pummel Seunghyun’s face into nothing, and despite his smooth appearance, Doojoon was quite strong as he pinned down Seunghyun on the floor, and he was quite the obvious winner of the match.
Hyunseung’s eyes widened in horror when it came to realization that it was his boyfriend that was the main star of the horrible show. He shoved roughly through the crowd, and quickly came to aid nearly unconscious TOP.
Yoseob caught Doojoon’s wrist, when he’s about to knock another life out of Seunghyun again. Doojoon’s expression darken when he looked up and saw the rage in Yoseob’s eyes.
“I said to help him get the drinks, not to beat the snot out of him! Apologize now!” Yoseob nearly shrieked in front of Doojoon’s face, ignoring the crowds' stare.
“Why should I apologize when this jerk deserves this?” Doojoon just scoffed and turned to Hyunseung, “You should find at least be able to find a decent boyfriend.”
Yoseob watched dumbfoundedly as Doojoon stood up, ready to leave the mess he had created.
When he finally found his voice, he yelled in rather shaky voice, “Yah, Yoon Doojoon! If you walked away now, we.. We…” Yoseob couldn’t finish his sentence.
Doojoon paused on his steps, “Or we’re what?”
Yoseob took a deep breath, “If you walk away now, we’re over.”
Thinking over the words, Doojoon nonchalantly walked away. Leaving Yoseob hanging his mouth open.

P.S.: to those who forgot, Hyunseung and Yoseob work part-time in an ice cream shop.
Hyunseung sighed. He should stop sighing. It’s already the tenth time he sighs today. He was feeling dejected, as Seunghyun didn’t answer his calls, nor respond to his texts. His tears were already dry now. He could only hope, that TOP will somehow call or text him back. He smiled dryly when a customer cheerily ordered some strawberry ice cream.
Yoseob eyed Hyunseung with a huge guilt biting off his toes. It was his fault that Hyunseung ended up like this. Sure, it was mostly Doojoon’s fault, but it’s his responsibility too.
“He hasn’t called you back, at all?”
Hyunseung nodded weakly.
“I’m sorry, Seung. This is all because of that stupid, short-tempered pig head. Should we go apologize to him after our shift? You said he worked in a club near here, right?”
Hyunseung cup his right cheek with his hand, while using the cashier counter as support for his elbow, lifted up his shoulder, “I don’t know. Don’t I seem a little bit too clingy to approach him in his work place?”
“Maybe, but you haven’t spoke to him for five days. Don’t you miss him?”
“The same goes for you. It's about time you make up with Doojoon."
"Aren't you even slightly mad at that Pig-head? Why would you suggest I making up to him?"
A sigh escaped Hyunseung's lips again, "Well, firstly, I don't want to be the reason of your break-up. And second, I just know that Doojoon wouldn't do it without any fine reason."
Yoseob watched his best friend with awe, "Seung, you're too kind to be a person."
Hyunseung cringed on the compliment, "What are you talking about? If you were in my shoes, I'd expect you to do the same too."
"Yah! I didn't pay you two to just gossip around and ignoring customers! Get back to work!"
The two immediately panicked when they heard their boss yelling. But as soon as their boss was out of hearing range, they goofed around again.
Yoseob glanced around the neighborhood, "It's near here, right?"
Hyunseung checked down the address he wrote down earlier on the shop's napkin, "I think so. I think the club was called 'Big Bang' or something"
"'Big Bang'? That club oughta be eye-catching."
And yes Yoseob was right, he spotted the club with quite a decoration, with the 'Big Bang' on the board sign. He nudged Hyunseung and pointed on the alley.
Hyunseung nodded and made his way to the club, slightly disturbed by a couple making out on the couch as soon he stepped inside the club.
Yoseob trailed along Hyunseung like a chick sticking close to its mother hen.
When Hyunseung was just about to ask the receptionist, he heard that familiar voice he had been thinking about for the past five days.
The deep voice spoke, "Do you know the high school chick that I've been dating just for fun?"
Another unrecognizable voice answered, "Ah, you mention something about that before. Wasn't the chick a boy?"
"Yeah. He suggested a double date with his friends."
"And you agreed?" The other boy laughed a bit, "I can't imagine you babysitting high school kids. How'd it go?"
"Disaster. His best friend's boyfriend made me spill coffee all over him and we nearly have a fistfight then.."
"Nearly?"
"That pig-head eavesdrops me taking your call, and then threw a fist out of nowhere."
"A high school kid beat you up? Aaaw, poor you."
"Oh, shut up."
And then Hyunseung saw TOP wore a smirk, while pulling the shorter boy into his embrace, and shut him off by giving some not-so-gentle kiss. Something that he hadn't even done with Seunghyun before.
"Seunghyun?"
Hyunseung was surprised his voice didn't tremble, cause his whole body is surely shaking.
Seunghyun took notice of the audiences, and pulled apart from the kiss, his expression was showing obvious displeasure of the interruption.
TOP raised an eyebrow to the intruder, "Seriously, are you a stalker?"
Hyunseung stammered on the question, "W-What?"
"Because of you, my phone's inbox is filled with nuisance. And do you understand if someone doesn't pick up your calls, it means they don't wanna talk to you? And here you are again, even approaching me at my work place. Are you that pathetic?"
The stranger whispered to the other, "Seunghyun-ah, don't be too harsh to a kid."
"I have to, Jiyong. He needs someone to tell him that he's a nuisance."
The harsh words from that gentle-romantic-TOP felt like a hard slap on Hyunseung's face.
Jiyong shook his head, "I'm sorry for his rudeness. He's not in his best behavior."
Yoseob, who just arrived at the scene, heard everything clearly. He took a quick glance worriedly at blank-faced Hyunseung, then to the dark-haired male and another unknown stranger. He took the other by the hand, tugging him hard enough on the sleeve, "Let's go, Seung."
Hyunseung absent-mindedly followed Yoseob gesture to the exit, but didn't fail to notice the smirk Seunghyun was wearing.
"Don't ever come back again, you freak."
Yoseob felt Hyunseung flinched under his touch and that’s it. He felt rage creeping up on him. He abruptly turned around, and smashed his fist on TOP. The elder male was caught off-guard and fell to the ground while wincing because of the pain.
Yoseob stared down on Seunghyun, "That was for Seungie."
TOP wasn't given a time to react when the blonde then stomp on his abdomen.
"That was for calling my boyfriend a pig-head, only I can call him that."
TOP was about to pounce on Yoseob but failed to do so because Jiyong was holding him back. And soon, Yoseob and Hyunseung were nowhere in sight.
"Why the hell did you hold me back?"
Jiyong grinned on angered-Seunghyun, "Because you do deserve that."
"I'm fine."
"Yeah right, you're so good on talking the opposite, Seung."
A weak smile curled on Hyunseung's lips, he had insisted that he was okay for the tenth time, and his best friend still don't believe him, maybe partly because of his own bad acting.
"You need to go and make up with Doojoon."
Yoseob's eyes widened a bit, "What? I'm not leaving you here in the middle of nowhere."
"I insist. Surely I can get home by myself. Now shoo," Hyunseung forced a grin and waved his hand to motion the blonde to go.
"Call me when you get home," is what Yoseob finally said after a prolonged silence.
Hyunseung nodded weakly and waved goodbye as the blonde made a run to the nearest bus stop, while once a while, he turned back to give a worried look to his bestfriend.
What Yoseob didn't see was Hyunseung sitting on the doorstep of no one's home, and the tears that he was holding back came streaming down his rosy cheek which earned the doe-eyed boy stares from the crowd. Hyunseung didn't care. He just doesn't care about what the world thinks right now.
***
It was not an unusual sight. It was not the first time he'd seen this. But it was the sight he despise the most. The sight of his own father romancing a teenage girl who was probably twenty years younger than him, and Junhyung just had to witness the act of lip-locking action from the ajar door of his father's study when he decided to give his father a visit.
Junhyung smiled bitterly and turned on his heels, strode his way to the elevator.
He can see where he got his playboy tendencies from, but it disgusted him when people say he took after his father.
It was probably one of his father's students that he was making out with earlier. His father had been quite an adventurer with his profession as a professor in the university.
The elevator 'ding' open and Junhyung went in. Just when the door was about to close, a girl hurriedly went in the elevator too. Junhyung couldn't help but notice the smudged lipstick she was wearing. It was the girl from earlier.
Junhyung gave his usual Casanova smirk, and the girl seemed to be flustered by the attention.
"You're pretty."
It was the truth. The girl was indeed pretty. Junhyung seemed satisfied when the girl grew to a dark shade of red.
"You're too pretty to be his fourth girlfriend this month."
Then the shade of red turned into a dark expression when she realized what Junhyung was talking about.
When reached the destination floor, Junhyung strode out of the elevator, and get into his vallet-parking car.
It was disturbing to see how his father turned out to be after his mother had passed away. He unconciously stepped the gas a little bit too strong, and speeding through a neighborhood. He was staring out of the window when he saw a familiar figure crying on the side of the street.
Junhyung shrugged it off. He wasn't in the mood of meeting Hyunseung, moreless cheering up sad Hyunseung. But then he found himself parking just anywhere, and his feet brought him to the sobbing brunette.
He stood there for quite a while, but his presence goes unnoticed by Hyunseung. A big sigh escaped his mouth, "Aren't you past age to be crying in the middle of a street?"
Hyunseung noticed an audience of his episode, but couldn't stop sniffling.
"If you think you're prettier when you're crying, you're wrong."
That was apparently bad choices of words for Junhyung, because the soft sniffles of Hyunseung quickly turned into hitched breath and loud sobbing.
Curious passerbys gave Junhyung a weird look. And realization drew on him, he nearly shrieked to the passerby, "I'm not the one who made him cry!"
That didn't much solve it, because it just earned him another look from other girls who were passing by.
Junhyung cussed a bit when no one believed him, and took Hyunseung a little bit roughly by the wrist, intending on bringing him to another place for him to cry freely without earning Junhyung looks as if he was the villain. And Hyunseung just didn't care where Junhyung would take him.

"How's it going on with Yoseob?" Kikwang poked carefully with the question, hoping Doojoon wouldn't throw another temper around their already-messed-up headquarter.
Kikwang flinched when Doojoon shoot his deathly glare to him.
"He said we're over. And I think it is. This time he's at the wrong."
Kikwang nodded on Doojoon's words, slightly relieved the F4's Leader didn't smash another glass into pieces this time. This man has got the worst temper.
"Then if the blonde came begging here with tears, knelt down a hundred times, to apologize, will you forgive him?"
Doojoon's cold response was, "I'd still won't forgive him no matter how he apologized."
Kikwang grinned awkwardly, "Then I guess you'd have to go home."
Doojoon turned around, surprised to see a sour-look Yoseob there. He didn't notice his presence in the room before.
"I had no idea you were that angry."
Yoseob was about to leave when Doojoon prevent him from doing so by catching his arm.
Yoseob pouted, "What?"
Doojoon couldn't really hide his happiness, his smile was soon tugging on his lips, "I'm willing to forgive you if you grant me three wishes."
"What the hell is that request?" Yoseob whined in protest.
"Take it or leave it," Doojoon said nonchalantly.
Yoseob scoffed loudly, and an idea crossed his mind, "Okay, but only if you tell me those wishes in 1 minute."
"What kind of rule is that?" Doojoon's protested but Yoseob already started counting.
"60,59,58,57,....."
"Hey, hey, wait a minute!"
But Yoseob ignored the girly whining and kept counting. "32,31,30,29....."
"Aish, don't do that! I can't concentrate!"
"29.,28,27,26...."
"Stop!"
And Yoseob did so. Well at least for five seconds, because then he started counting again.
"18,17,16,..."
"Sit!"
Yoseob sat. He was wearing the smile of victory, "You have one wish left. 9,8,7,6,5...."
Doojoon cut him off, "I have my last wish!"
Yoseob raised an eyebrow, not liking the smirk Doojoon was wearing.
Doojoon wiggled his eyebrow playfully, "Say, 'Oppa, I'm sowwy...'"
"…….."
Doojoon faked a pout, "Didn't you see Hyunseung do that to that jerk? He goes, 'oppa oppa oppa'."
Yoseob cringed on the fail imitation of Hyunseung by Doojoon.
"Now, repeat after me. 'Oppa, I'm sowwwyyy'."
"No way in hell."
