Movie recap (spoilers and crack)
Only having to wait a year after its release in Japan... wasn't a bad wait, really. I've had the subbed version on my harddrive since... I dunno, February or something and had been waiting to watch it with my Tammy, but haven't had the chance. But Tuesday it released here in the US and I went ahead and watched it dubbed. The caps below are subbed from what I had on my harddrive. Some of the subs provide more amusement!

Allelujah and Marie are out on their pilgrimage ... for two years. Long trek. Wonder where they went.
Forewarning of character bias
Credits end there's politics or something going doing. Then we flash to incredibly cheesey dialogue and Gundam fights. Oh, apparently a movie was made of Celestial Being's acts!
Clearly Saji is not okay about this. Mostly cause he wasn't in it.
Louise is STILL in the hospital after her innovator spiel. Seriously? You're there for two years and you still have episodes?
Flash to ship with Marina and co. An ambush! Luckily, Lyle is on the job!
He saves the day and leaves and is like "Yo, Setsuna, go say hi to your honey bunches :D"
And Setsuna all Setsuna is like "Meh... I don't feel the need to."
Lyle is disappointed in the lack of love life this kid has.
Or so we thought. Enter Feldt.
Or not. Frankly, I HATE Setsuna/Feldt. It's incredibly forced IMO. 90% of Feldt's line in this movie was saying his name or saying something about him. Feldt, what happened to you, girl?
Sumeragi, I don't like your hair chopped off. You look like WOMAN!Lockon. Don't approve. However, Setsuna manages to look rather bish throughout the entire movie.
Enter A-Laws. There's some serious stuff going down!
PATRICK! NGL, he and Kati are my favorite scenes from this movie. He keeps calling his wife colonel even though she's now Brigadier General.
Blah blah blah VEDA. Blah blah blah ELS. Yep, I don't get what's going on sometimes either, Patrick. Politics are boring.
POLITICS! Srsly, this lady scared me. Everytime she came on screen I thought she was a man.
RIBBONS!!! Sorta. The enemy is an alien life form identified as ELS and the attack their victims and crystallize them. Creepy.
Ugh, this paring is cracktacular and disturbing. Nena, why didn't you just die? Leave poor Billy Boy alone.
CB gets word that the ELS are killing people and targeting people specifically with Quantum Brainwaves. Naturally their concerns go to Allelujah and Marie. And Sumeragi is worried about her love muffin him and tells Feldt and Miliena to get in contact. Oh noes, can't get through!
I love how Lyle is all shrugging like "Yeah, gotta go save Allelujah again. What is this, fourth rescue mission?"
Marie feels a disturbance in the force and they go to a facility to investigate.
But everyone is now crystal people. Told you it was creepy.

Setsuna ditches Lyle's rescue mission to find Saji and Louise that are being attacked by not!Ribbons.
Machinary and junk go crazy and try to kill Allelujah and Marie.
But Hallelujah is like "Hey captain obvious, I'm taking over!" Even though we haven't talked in two years and you're totally okay to let me do this. And proves that Alle is even more schizo as the change is less dramatic and sounds like he's talking to himself. More so than before.

A slight reunion goes down once Allelujah and Marie are taken aboard the Ptolemomy. Sumeragi is ready to go to the next stage and plan the plan!
But Lyle's like "I'm tired, need nap for srs."

So CB goes to battle the ELS in their Gundams. Setsuna is all Innovade now and he's like "Imma try and communicate with it, cause that's what I do, or something."
This shouldn't make me laugh as much as it does. Trans-Am Naked Sparkles get me every time.

Oh ffff Tieria is doing crazy things like saving Setsuna. The ELS attacks Setsuna and his Gundam and starts to crystallize him.

T-chan sacrifices himself cause he can just project himself to another body or just be a hologram. No one cares about his death here, really.
Oh snap, he has brain damage. Oh noes, how will we save the universe without the main character!?
As long as HAMUGraham is on the job it will be so!

Indeed. About time Setsuna woke up from almost being killed. Even the other characters are shocked at his slow main character recovery.

Lyle ;; No, he doesn't die (thankfully) but I love his memory of Anew and how humans and Innovades and other life forms can understand each other.
There's that special snowflake abilities. He turned the ELS into a giant flower. Um, what? It's symbolic, but really? Now there's a giant flower floating in space.

After credits we has a flashback of Aioela Shenburg (yes I botched his name, but whatever) talking blah blah. Then flashes to the middle east where Marina is old and playing an organ randomly. Setsuna is all silver and ghoastie... I guess he merged with the ELS or something?
