Sorry for the double post, but this deserves its own entry in my journal:
Brain Jacques dies from heart-attack at age 71
This breaks my heart. Such a master story-teller. My favorite author. No more Redwall. No more Castaways of the Flying Dutchman ;; I suppose there's the possibility of someone picking up the series, but I'm doubtful as it isn't as epic and long-running as Wheel of Time or anything.
