On Thursday I found a job posting for a job in Orem that started paying at $10 an hour to those with not as much experience. The description showed that it's basically what I've been doing for the last three years. But, it's in Orem. More than I want to commute to everyday. Then I started thinking about moving to Orem again. Currently my rent is helping my parents out, so I wouldn't move into an apartment until things looked up for my parents and I'd deal with the commuting. OR another of my plans was to present this potential employer to my current and make them give me a raise if I'm as valuable/dependable as I think I am/they make me out to be. If they paid me more, of course I'd stay since my boss is awesome, I get to play on the internet and write my novel all day :D

I spent the weekend thinking about it and sent in some request info for my apartment in question. Kim was who I was thinking of rooming with. She says moving in the Fall would be best as she thinks her car payments and other bills will be under control. Sweet! Gives me some time to save some as well.

Well, I got on the employment site ready and excited to submit my resume and just as I'm about to click the contact, the job posting disappears. The position had been filled! I looked at the original posting and it was back on the 5th and they started interviews on the 8th. Chances are if even I tried to apply last week it would have been filled as well. There goes my glorious plan. I still think I may try and bring up a raise to Cindy, though. I do a lot, and my time is worth more than $8.50 an hour :p Three years and I've only gotten a .50 raise. Granted, I get health/dental insurance and paid Holiday/sick days, so it isn't SO low wage to me.

Before I looked up jobs in Utah county, I searched up in Logan and nothing looks promising as of yet if I did decide to move up there. Logan or Orem would be good places to start anew and meet people my age. So.... still pondering.

I ended up getting my taxes done at H&R Block since doing it on my own was frustrating and Turbo Tax apparently lied. Two weeks later I have gotten my return and it was a pleasant surprise and significantly larger than my initial figuring. I have ordered a new camera, which is basically the updated version of my old nearly dead one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002HWRKSO/ref=oss_product AND it's BLUE :D

I also ordered the Pirates of the Caribbean Triology on Blu-Ray (omnomnomnom) and the FMA movie on Blu-Ray as well since I have to own all versions of it! Both were on a 50% sale over the weekend and it worked out well for me :D I've also preordered Soul Eater Boxset 2 and FMA:B Boxset 1. Went to Walmart and purchased Ponyo DVD/Blu-Ray combo pack (which has now become Loni's favorite movie as we watched it together twice). Funny how I'm buying Blu-Rays and I don't personally have a player myself XD Also got Princess and the Frog after much annoyances.

Oh! My laptop decided to behave and play my Mamo DVD properly and OMFG it is shiny and makes me a happy Krista!

oh lookie! Email from the apartment peoples. Eww, the rates are per person. Well, now that's not as exciting anymore XP Okay, looking elsewhere, I guess.

Vern and Jenny living with us hasn't been too much of an adjustment as they were over almost every evening anyway. But Loni seems to think that my room is her room. I've been locking my door when I'm not home, but the moment I walk in the door, she runs to my door and wants in. They thought since she'd have her own toys she'd have no interest in mine. No, that seems to give her more incentive to play with mine. She comes in and plays with my army of Timon and Pumbaa's and pulls out all my plushies, asks to watch a movie on my TV. I'm just about to lock her out of my room when I'm home, because I am in a roundabout way still babysitting their kid. grumbles*. Another reason moving out sounds fantastic.

Been playing Lego Batman. After I'm done, I think I'll get a hold of the Sonic Chronicles game guide cause I have no idea what the crap I'm doing. I hate RPGs and Sonic in this format wigs me out. Then get my hands on Spirit Tracks *gnaws*

Oh hey, new art!

MattxAbby's anniversary is on Wednesday... must come up with epic art.

Just about done with my homework for Melissa!

Oh, so here's the Zach situation: He comes to me for relationship advice. Awkward. Basically I told him he was a douche bag for being with this girl when he doesn't want to, but thinks he's being nice since all her past boyfriends have been jerks. Well, you moron, you are setting her up for heart-break.
