-since I made a post that was actually a significant entry!
The first snow storm of the season came on Saturday and pretty much snowed me in. I didn't go anywhere. I stayed inside and talked to people on my laptop and worked on NaNo
25047 / 50000 words. 50% done!
NaNo is doing all right. I'm slowly approaching the point where I'm running out of ideas and/or feeling comfortable writing so it won't sound like total BS. I know it's all about word count, but I'm stubborn about not letting that be an excuse for lazy writing. I write all the time, something like NaNo shouldn't be that hard for me. Huuuuur but my choice of subject is backstory and I get @_@ at times. At 25k it should be easier... for me not so much!
With the snow/frost I have to scrape off my car, time to get up five minutes earlier so I stop being late for work xp It was 20F/-6C this morning. BRRR!
I've been talking with Zach a lot via MSN. He's become a big distraction in writing my NaNo *pokes him* Tomorrow night I'll be meeting him for a concert. I'm making him buy dinner since I bought the tickets. The concert is called "Play!" and is basically the same thing as Video Games Live. Should be fun. This week will be so busy, writing NaNo will have to be written mostly at work since I won't have much time when I get home from work.
As a family, we won't be having much of a Christmas. Dad's hit of the economy of the year has left us financially hurting. I won't go into details as that's no one's business but ours, but we'll definitely be cutting back on the Christmas spoils, even though my parents have said that for years, but they mean it this time. I'm doing well with my job and bills, so I'm going to try and help out more. Because of that, I hope none of you will be sad that you most likely won't be getting a gift from me unless it's art or a card except for my very bestest people. But with NaNo and me owing Tammy two art pieces, I'm not sure if I'll have the TIME to make cards and gift art :x We'll see, but please don't be offended if I get too wrapped up.
