I'm getting really tired of getting myself ready on Sunday mornings to go to my RS meetings and the rest of my presidency not show up or call/text and tell me that there is no meeting. Last Sunday I was in Texas and I got a text saying "No meeting." Well, obviously I wasn't going to make it, but when I'm here and able to go, there is a no show. I

That's really lame. It's just not fair you're committing yourself to this and nobody else really is. You have so much more patience than me, though.

I hear it's a Singles Ward thing. I hope when/if I move, I will have a better ward/branch with not so flaky people and would at least have the decency to make a phone call.

There are four of us: The President, 1st and 2nd counselor and me, the secretary. I think it would be the president's responsibility to let me know if our meeting is canceled. It's happened several times that I go and end up waiting... and they don't show up.
