Return'd~
Trip to Athena's was lovely and relaxing. Me, Jess, and Brin (and Miya) arrived in Caldwell around 1am on Thursday evening/morning. Woke up Friday morning and spent the day just sitting around the house, playing Rock Band, chatting and laughing. Saturday was spent the same way, with the addition of us all drawing/coloring at the table in the evening after dinner. I'd really like to make some sort of a routine of our visits to Athena's because she lives in a beautiful and quiet place and the drive isn't bad and I don't see her as often as I'd like. There is some news, but I won't take the right from Athena to share, so I will wait :) We left after having a lunch of REAL tacos and I've been home for about two hours, now.
I must confess I have never played Rock Band before this weekend. I tried Guitar Hero and couldn't hold the guitar for more than 10 minutes. I also do not sing. So Rock Band has the drum option and that is what I played. We made a band consisting of Keiko, Mel, and Shar with Brin being a character named Miya and Jess switching out for vocals and bass. I totally loved the outfit I got Shar. Shar is a drummer, yo! Our band is Yah Toast! Next time we are going to create Zekiah and Rales's band because we are that big of dorks.
Just finished watching FMA:B 10 and man... it doesn't matter that I knew it was coming, I was still crying. I wish it took it a little slower like the first series, but... Brotherhood made a more morbid impact ._. *cringes in a corner*
I also came home to a package from Tammy that has some Gundam 00 doujinshi in it :D I shall possibly work on scanning those >3 I also got my Digimon Data Squad 13-episode set. Score!
Last, but certainly not least, today is Matt and Cade's birthday. I drew them yesterday Gemini - WIP. I hope to work on it throughout the week. AND tomorrow is Miyano Mamoru's birthday, and because it is already the 8th in Japan, my Flist is full of posts already. Yay!
