Okay, more annoying things of work. It drives me absolutely NUTS when I get an author on the phone and they talk down to me because THEY ARE AN AUTHOR! Then they get all pissy when I take an order for their book and I have to ask what book. Like I'm supposed to remember what author wrote what! You are not the only author here, yo! We have thousands of titles and hundreds of authors. I am not going to keep track! Some I do remember, because I've read their stuff or I really liked the cover or something, but I should not get yelled at for not knowing what book Jay Fluckiger wrote D< Authors are people too. I'm not going to treat them like a celebrity :p Which reminds me, I need to mention my hatred of Steve Alten. I don't care that you're a National Best Seller, don't call and ask impatiently for Lyle like you're the president or something and don't blow off my head when I don't recognize your pompous voice and have to ask who you are :p

Anyway, I've really enjoyed my med freedom over the last few months >.> I come home from work and edit LoA. It's quite possibly the best thing ever. Hmm, I need to ask Jennifer what's the copyright law on using song lyrics in a novel. Hmm. I see James Patterson do it :D

Speaking of James Patterson, loving Maximum Ride does not mean I will love Twilight. Cindy has now borrowed the whole series and had the gall to tell me that they are similar. HELLZ NO! Maximum Ride /=/ Twilight. People, just no. No. The ONLY similarity is that it's first person POV and Young Adult genre.
