Blackest of Friday's
Thanksgiving was nice and relaxing. I stayed up until like 2am on Wednesday talking to Tammy and I still couldn't get to sleep until 3am, so I slept in until 10:30... on my floor.
The grandparents came at 2:30pm and we bummed around the house until the bird was done cooking. My cousin Alex managed to stay out of jail for a week, so I got to see him. It seems like years since I've SEEN him and not just heard he was causing trouble and in prison somewhere or getting kicked out of the army again. Before he went off the deep end, I kinda considered him my closest cousin. Anyway, food was good. Ate too much, I still feel fat. We played Skip-Bo while watching Home Alone. Then Camron, Alex, and I watched videos on YouTube. After the grandparents and cousin left, Mom, Dad, Camron, and I watched Hancock. Then I crashed at 10:30pm only to get up at:
3:45am this morning for BLACK FRIDAY. Dad and I wanted to get to Circuit City at 5am to get Marvel Scene-It for $10. Turns out they NEVER had them. There was nothing else there worth the wait in line. Went over to Best Buy and decided it wasn't worth it either. We then went over to Staples where we ALWAYS have the best luck. We got EVERYTHING we came for. The Krista has a 640GB external and a wireless mouse waiting for her on Christmas Day 8D Dad and I then went to K-Mart and got a crock-pot we saw in the ads for Mom, then we went to Roberts where I snagged a new sketchbook and some paper I want to use for Vern's present and my Christmas cards. We met Mom and Camron at Quicksilver where they were the only ones in the store XD We took advantage of that and took forever trying on stuff and I got Jenny a bracelet (man she's hard to shop for DX) We all left there and ate at McDonald's for breakfast. We parted ways and Dad and I went to Big 5 to get soccer balls and snagged a Wilson volleyball (yes, it has the blood hand print from Castaway). Went to Victoria's Secret for some perfume for mom (my dad is so manly that he goes into that store. I even hate going in there :p) Zoomed over to Costco and got Camron an iPod to replace the Zune that went through the washing machine.
So, here I am. Black Friday stuff is over for me. Dad and I usually get it all done before 10am. I'm pretty awake, for the moment. Now I'm here at work, and I think I'll stay until 1 or so. I'd like to take a shower and possibly have a cat nap before I do anything else XD
