(no subject)
I've decided that I'll take the med final on February 22 and 23. I'd take it this weekend, but I'm not ready. Next weekend is all Katie-filled with Spiderwick and the BYU Writer's Conference, soooooo that weekend will have to do. I'll take off work at 1pm and come home and take the first part, then get a good night's sleep and take the second part Saturday morning and possibly have the Kim over that day. I'm gunna be stressed until I take that test. This test determines a lot. If I graduate with honors to high honors, doctors will want me! And I want that! Standard is not good enough!
Jen went home yesterday. I'm sad I only got to see her for two days, but I'm considering going to see her in May. It really all depends on when Steven gets his mission call, though. But then... Josh will be at Boot Camp until April, so he'll come back and they'll want to be together and make up the time they were apart and blah blah blah mushy stuff, and I don't want to be the one to ruin that. So we'll see what happens.
I have failed to mention in past entires that I've been watching the Avatar: The Last Airbender special features on the DVD from season one. Wow, it's so awesome! I love special features for animation series cause they are by far the most interesting to a voice actor/art/music whore like me :p I'm going backwards on the discs, but I loves the shiny commentaries so much! *is dying for season 2 boxset and new episode of season 3!*
Also, there will be a new Yugioh series in Japan after GX finishes in Japan. Whether Kazuki Takahashi has any hand in it is unknown... not much else is known about it except the main character is 18, has a Dragon card as his main card, and the series is very Sentai (think Power Rangers with the 5 members going on).
I'm going to be blunt and say GX was crap. I've watched a few episode and was just "Ugh" at it. The characters were uninteresting and ugly, and the concept of the Dueling Academy was lame. The purpose of that show was to make you "BUY THE CARD GAME!" At least with Duel Monsters there was more than that. (Well, to me :p)
BUT, I'll be echoing some opinions from playthedamncard, GX was somewhat of Kaiba's spinoff as there were so many things that pointed to him (the school itself, dragon fetishes, etc.) The first one followed Yugi, the second installment was Kaiba... The third one could POSSIBLY follow Jounouchi. Why? Not only due to the reasons above, but because he is the third main character. I know this is only anime based, but he's the third Warrior. He's an amazing character as he's the underdog, but what a concept it'd be if the main character of Yugioh 5D was such and sucked hardcore and all his friends were awesome? Or if the main characters were descendants of the original cast that'd be pretty epic too!
Seriously, if this series becomes what GX was/is, I'll cry. The reason I love Yugioh is the characters. And if I can't love the characters it is not worth my time. I'd kill for a wonderful strong female character for once :p (Mai kicked butt, hands down!) I also love the Egyptology of the Yugioh series, and I'd love for it to continue. There's also another movie in the works, but all of that is rather unknown as well.
Okay, wow, long rant about Yugioh. ^^;;;;
I got my pants for my Ilia cosplay in the mail last night... but, THEY ARE TOO SMALL! Stupid weird sizing measurements. I really can fit into a 32" waist, but not 32" HIPS! Why must I be endowed with womanly curves!? I'm going to see what I can do to at least have someway to button the pants as they fit my legs just fine, but gets tight around my pelvis and butt... luckily my shirt will cover whatever monstrosity I concoct to be able to button the pants and make them look like Ilia. The color is a little different than on the interwebs, but I think it looks nice.
I'm still pretty syked about D.N.Angel returning!

Oh, our book The Shell Game has made it to the National Best Seller's list. GO BUY ONE! I have my copy *_* It's a book about the next 9/11 and the end of oil and the evilness that is speculated with the year 2012.
I've been obsessing over So Alive by Ryan Adams. Typically whenever I listen to any song I try to relate it to something. It's definitely going on the next LoA OST. (Pst. 10 points Tammy and Wolf if you can guess!)
