(no subject)
I've been up since 4:30 this morning... I think I'm going to eat lunch, take a warm bath and crash for 2 or 3 hours and then go see Enchanted :D
More on my success and unsuccesses when I'm a bit more awake.
Edit: Now that I have made the fortunate/unfortunate choice to have had a code red mountain dew with my lunch, I am now too awake and caffinated to sleep XD
Anyway, I didn't get to sleep until after midnight last night cause Vern wanted to be a selfish prat (and had a little spat with me earlier in the day. What holiday is complete without one of those?) and made us watch Rescue Dawn. It was a good movie, I can't deny the Christian Bale, but functioning off of 4 hours of sleep is illegal somewhere @_@
So, woke up at 4:30 and headed to Staples with my Dad and we had that system worked out from last year, so we were in-and-out of there within 20 minutes. Dad + Krista = Ultimate Black Friday Shoppers! We got lotsa computer goodies (upset that they had an 80 GB harddrive for the same price of my 60 last year :p). Went to Office Max and grabbed more goodies and a Zune for Camron cause poor Mom had no luck with getting it at Toys R' Us at 5am to get it there, or Radio Shack, or Office Max where she was! Dad and I then went to Mervyn's, Deseret Book (where I snagged my Josh Groban Noel Album :D), Macy's, Costco, and Home Depot. We were done by 11:30 am.
Truthfully, I didn't really buy anything for anyone. I already knew what I was getting everyone before today and none of the stuff was going to be in the Black Friday ads. I'm an internet/ebay shopper :p Though, I did get Loni a birthday present for turning a year old this Sunday, and Vern an XBox 360 game that I am making Steven and Camron split with me. Really I could have just stayed home and slept, but this is one of the only times I get to spend time with my dad, and I can miss a few hours of sleep for that. And he needs a tag-team buddy.
And, I know that Steven tackled a few people to get me my Nintendo DS at FYE. Sadly, the Special Edition Zelda bundle was gone (the system was gold with a Triforce on the cover ;-;), so I now have a pink one with Nintendo Dogs. I'm sure I'll play it... I'll just have to go buy Zelda: Phantom Hourglass on my own now. Pink was the last color I wanted, but I can at least buy skins... though it'll look extremely odd :p
