OMG, originality is overrated

May 25, 2007 08:12

I got the lineart for my 7 art projects back from school last night. Things I knew they'd comment on, like my flaws in perspective on my camera drawing and Mamo's lips, were addressed along with other things that were rather lame. They didn't like my Winged Strawberry design for my business card, they said "How does it represent you. Make it show ( Read more... )

Just finished chapter 17. Everyone has been in recovery for a bit. (BTW I found the hole bit of Corles proclaiming his love out-of-character and Dawn fainting highly hilarious XD) (Also eagerly awaiting what Shiras and Re sacrificed to save Thres and Kocha!)

Whoot! XD I had to have Corles totally OOC simply for the hillarity, though Dawn's reaction was probably pretty much right. And *hides* Untill you read/I write GD you don't find out what Re and Shiras sacrificed, but I know it will be a very hard scene for me to write when I get there because I know what it was and it's...sad. ;-;

There are just some characters that HAVE to be out of character. Example = Cade. Remember his childish-ness?

OOOooo that makes me excited. Maybe if I get up to speed and par with it I can help cause... I LOVE WRITING TRAUMA!!! BUWAAHHAHAHH Drama-llama's are hot! Specially between lovers! *coughsMattxSharcough*

Yes, I love that, it nearly always has to be the most proper ones as well who go OOC. XD

Ooohhhh, I should think there's a fair chance you'd be caught up by then. I have the basis for The Path part sorted in my mind, but it'll be tricky to get it so I'm actually happy with it, therefore I welcome any and all help!

Poor Cade... he's got so much crap to deal with later on. I started realizing how bad he has it later on ;^;

Yays! I think I'll read some more tonight. I got hardly any plans.

Describing the events and the emotions can always be the trickiest part, but once addressed at the right angle become the biggest impact! At least I think so ^^; I shall be happy to help when I have enough knowledge in my head-head.

*stands on a box and pats Cade on the head* Poor boy.

Ohh, yays!

Thanks, it's greatly appreciated. I know, that's why I want to get that part just right, because I know just how deeply it would actually effect Re and Shiras, and yet they are still willing to give it up for Thres and Kocha. *shrugs* Proves just how much they love them both.

*mutters incoherent things about Mel*

Re and Shiras are shaping to be my favorites. I've eyes Shiras since you requested a sketch of him (which I'll get to soon I hope) and Re is just awesome. And just knowing that they'll give up what they want for Thres and Kocha is just so sweet. THE POWER OF LOVE WILL SET YOU FREE! cheese /end

*glomps you* You are the only person thus far who has said they liked Re and Shiras! (Asides from me.) Though I must say you are free to change your mind at any time - Re can be quite evil and callous at times even if her loyalty to Thres (and to Shiras and the Underground)is unquestionable.

Shiras is just like so witty and just such a "brother" character. I'm wibbley for those characters X3 And Re almost seems like the under-appreciated female character of the three at the moment and I typically like chars that not many like in many of my fandoms. (sokay, not many people like Kale from my story -_-)

Shiras is great fun to write, he know how to act around certain people, eg: with Kocha he's a nutcase and with Thres he's teh over-protective-elder-brother (despite his feelings for her.) Re does tend to get pushing into the background in D&A1 in light of Thres' leadership and Dawn's...Dawn-ness.

(Awwww, I think he's sweet, poor thing had a bit to deal with. And I luffs all the characters in your story. XD)

"Dawn's Dawn-ness" LOL

(Kale is the rebellious brute. He's not my favorite, but I still love the bugger to death. I'm going to be expanding on him a bit to hopefully waver previous thoughts of him... either to dislike him more or like him more XD Though he does stupid things, he still has his dad in him, which I hope to shine through more.)

Yes, it's the fact he does the right thing in the end for Lissy's sake that I like him, despite the fact he can be a pain at times! I'm sure I like him more.

It's so hard to write about someone like him. He's so different than my other characters (most of my characters are sweet pansy's)... I'm hoping what I do won't make people hate him more, but be more understanding than anything.
