The Future is Now
Okay, I'll finally come out and lay some of my future options out.
Talking to my parents a while back they wanted me to give them my final decision of where I want to go with my life; whether I go on a mission soon after my birthday when I turn 21, or go to school full-time.
I've prayed about it, and my instincts/gut/spirit is leaning more toward school being where I should go. Now where?
I hear Snow College has an amazing art program and people have a blast there. Negative side is that I'm farther from my family and friends and I'd be like in my own little world. But then I probably should learn to deal with living away from my comforts (though I'm sort of doing that now!). SO then there is the UVSC option.
I've gone three semesters to UVSC already, but only taking one or two classes and it's turning more into a university so going to school is more costly from what I hear. BUT if I went to UVSC I'd still be within reasonable driving distance to my house and my friends. For Financial Aid and Scholarships to work you have to live on your own or something, so I'd look into housing prices and I could even still keep my Dominion Insurance job and just work part-time or something.
Then there is also the option of moving to Texas like I sort of want to do. Live with my best friend and go to school and go to spur of the moment conventions cause they are everywhere in Texas. I'd just need to find out how much tuition would be at the school Jen's at. And I'd get a part-time job there which could even be easier than finding one here! Then I'd be away from my family and my Utah friends ;_;
I'm going to do some online research, but what do you guys think?
I got a reply to one of my resume's this morning. I'm waiting for the guy to email me back with a time to come in for an interview. It's a warehouse inventory/data entry job in Springville.
Okay, before I went to bed, I was gunna do a rough sketch of it. I pulled out my references and my original pose wasn't working. My angling was off and it just wasn't going to look like Yamato. Which makes me sad cause it was a cool dynamic pose.
Then I used a different reference and changed the clothing quite a bit to suit my wants. It's not as cool and dynamic, it's kinda boring, if it weren't for the fact that Yama isn't wearing a shirt under the jacket ^^; Jrocker Yamato - Idea His hands still need help, and I think I'm having a slight hard time doing this cause I keep picturing my character Matt and I'm like "GAH! no, Yamato YAMATO!" If you like how this looks I'll continue working on it and finish it. Would you like Jeans, Leather, vinyl or what for the overall outfit?
My Jen is so awesome. She went to Ikkicon this weekend and took video for me. Vic is such an adorable dork, I really miss him ;_; Vic sends love from Ikkicon I'll know for sure after Disneyland if I'll be able to go to Sakura-Con but seriously, my mind is already at 90% yes no matter what.... credit cards are nice :D
