Five Years in the Making

Dec 27, 2006 09:56

Today marks the Fifth Anniversary of writing lineageofangels and the First Year Recognition of completing the first draft. Wow, my life wasted or not? Nah... if I wasn't writing, I wouldn't have the inspiration to draw anything, thus I wouldn't be an artist or have the desire to be better.

It's because of those that have been with me since day one when I started and those that joined half way through, etc, that give me the motivation to keep on trying and the words to know when something sucks or is so awesome that you cry because my writing becomes so moving. Even I, the author, have certain scenes that I still cry at when I read them. My dear friends, you guys make it possible that this novel can be released to the public.

Thanks to Jess and Jen for our neverending plotting sessions and letting me let you into the world of my story. Thanks to Tammiya and her undying devotion and constant spoils of fanart and love and encouragement. A big hug to Athena and her extreme fangirlness over certain characters *coughzekiahcough*. And giant loves to Tibek, and all those that have started to read it since I started the community.

AND! Congradulations to Tammiya! You win the contest for your beautiful Matt and Abigail piece. Let me know how I may satisfy you ;)
Thank you tibek for your beautiful Matt and Shar piece. As runner up you get something too :3

One man’s mistake changed the course of his entire family’s life…Was it worth it? Through trial and error, knowing of the consequences his birthplace brought, belonging to a place and being loved was what one man wanted. Though through that emotion, his family suffered a great deal, yet because of his mistake Angels were brought into the world, and brought new life and heroes. Love was what had been misunderstood, but grew in his offspring to bring to the world the Lineage of Angels.

Brin came over yesterday, and I wanted to show her my Jrock love; Janne da Arc. We started clicking away at certain links and busted up laughing!

Sylvia PV (Yasu singing into the phone like a microphone sends me into fits of giggles.)

Shining Ray - Instrument Switch. This is simply the best thing to watch. I loled the whole 4 minutes.

And this morning as I write a chapter or two in my story, I came upon some live stuff, and I was happy that they sung Kokoro no Yukue, my favorite song.

Kokoro no Yukue - Live

Kiss Me - Live

Dolls - Live

Awesomly enough, they still sound pretty amazing live, which is something that some bands have a hard time doing live and in front of an audience. I think I can get the DVD off of Yesasia... too bad my laptop is gay.
