Amaz-z-zing!
It's amazing! My hands look and feel so much better. They aren't 100% cured, but at least it's not to obvious I'm in discomfort. Still raw skin on my palm, but it's slowly rebuilding.
*sigh* I still didn't get my FMA Dvd in the mail. I want it before I leave for Vegas. I just wanna watch crack episode 37, if I can't, I'll remain a sad Krista. The new box is so shiny and red. Crap, I'll need to rearrange my shelf T^T
I had too much fun with princely_tamaki's layout. It ended being different than I originally planned, but I just became too obsessed with his white officer outfit from episode 11, I just had to use it. And it looks nice with the yellow layout.
So, I read Volumes 10 and 12 of Yugioh, manga yesterday. I skimmed through a lot of it, the dueling really, with the occasional looking for amusing things said, and admiring shinies. I enjoy the interaction of the characters is the main reason I enjoy YGO so much, that and Jounouchi and Eygpt stuff. (Jonouchi is how they translate it in the manga... I'm not sure which is correct XD)
I'm in my favorite part of the series: Battle City. I'd like to purchase the manga from 9 and pick and choose the ones I want. Anyway, I found a lot of things to be a bit different from the anime, and that's expected and it's awesome. My favorite difference or scene in the manga from the anime is Jounouchi at the burger shop and he hits someone in the head with his duel disk and the guys like "Can't you take that off?" "I can't, it's part of my arm! You want it off, you'll have to cut my arm off." LOL.
...*sigh* but of COURSE even in the manga I miss the episode I keep missing from the anime! *tears hair out* It's a wonderful Jounouchi episode of him and his sister at the hospital and I keep missing it! *shakes fist*
So, I'm reading along and I get to Honda coming to see Shizuka in the hospital to take her to go see Jounouchi duel. "Katsuya!" she smiles. Whoah. I'm used to her calling him Oni-Chan in the anime, I totally wasn't expecting that. It's so weird to have him be called by his first name.
Which leads to the big mysetery: why do Yugi, Honda, and Anzu call him by his LAST name all the time? Aren't they close enough to be on first-name terms? He calls them by their first names and they to each other. There must be something with that that he has everyone but his family call him by his last name. It must be something explained in the first series.
With Kaiba it's a bit different. He's everyones rival and is "superior" because he's a business honcho, and Mokuba is the only one that calls him Seto (cause they are brothers), so that makes sense. But Jounouchi... he's such a friendly guy, why would he feel the need to always be referred to by his last name?
I need to do research, or it's gunna forever naw at my brain. But then, if I find the answer I hope it's not a lame reason like "it sounds cooler", which prolly is 70% true.
I started watching Capsule Monsters again, because it amuses. And hurray for icons!
