Hey, figured I would take the time to spill some of my knowledge and inspiration I had built up inside, hope this makes you feel a little better, and dont worry, everything your thinking and worrying about has already been thought about by me and probably many more people with a knack for life exploration.

["You fall into this routine of just being here and having the same habits over and over day after day and you feel like you're in a rut."]

Sometimes, yes, that is what life is. There are times for monotony and there are times for spontaneity. Unfortunately, it seems like the ones we want are rarely around when we want them. Sometimes the endless drag of 'everyday' can make you feel like your in a rut, but remember, your only 16, and whether you like it or not, your going places.

["I also wonder what life is supposed to be like."]

Life is supposed to be like whatever you make it. There is no set pattern to life, which is why I don't think ours lives are essentially 'planned out'. Life is what you make it, im sure you've heard the saying.

["We're born, we grow and educate ourselves, find a mate, reproduce, live our life and then it's over?"]

That's basically an outside way of looking at life, and a rather depressing one if you ask me (not that you did). Sure those are some highlights or essentials, but that's not all life is, and everyone's life is different, no matter what. Even if you can only look back on one summer or week in the past, and all that it meant to you, your life has already gone beyond being born, growing, raising a family, and dying.

["Well, the truth is I'm 16 years old. I have more regrets than I can count and I haven't yet begun to expierence life. Regret is inevitable I guess, but I don't think I would have so many regrets if I wasn't so careless all the time. Living in the moment and being spontaneous are two of the best things I do and one day it'll kill me."]

Yes, the truth is, you are 16 years old. And even if you only live to be the very young age of 30 (god forbid) you've barely lived half of your life. And yes, regrets are inevitable, there is no such thing as a life with no regrets. If there were, life would be boring, imagine a world where everyone made the right choice... That world wouldn't last a week before collapsing upon itself. It takes a lot of different types of people who have made alot of different types of choices to make the world go 'round, so dont feel bad about having regrets, your just shaping and preparing yourself for a long life ahead. And about being spontaneous, dont stop. Being spontaneous is one of the greatest things ever, and if you stopped to plan everything, you wouldn't have time to do it.

["One day I'm going to make a list of all the things I want to accomplish before I die. I'm not sure how long it'll be but I'll accomplish every one. Life is a true blessing and it can be taken away from you faster than you have time to blink."]

I'm definitely gonna do that too. I've always meant to but its never been more than a mental list. But good luck with your list, and remember to have fun, no matter what, because if you dont enjoy life, what's the point.

I love the way we overanalyze everything.

Life is long and hard so I'm getting myself comfortable by figuring out the shit no one is suppose to figure out before I figure out I'm not supposed to figure it out.

Hm..

But anyway...thanks for your opinion. Always appreciated. :-)
