Now here's a nice surprise. [ A grin. ] Are you going to turn around and walk out if I say that I missed that pretty face of yours?

[rebeliune]

[ Snorts, but she turns her head away. ] That'd defeat the purpose of why I'm here. [ Turns back. Can you sorta tell she misses you, too? ]

[sharpstone]

[ A little, and so her grin softens into a smile as she tips her head to one side. She won't go right back to teasing you. ...Or at least she'll try not to. ] "Purpose"? Makes it sound like this ain't just a social call. You need anything?

[rebeliune]

[ Lets out a soft breath. ] To be honest? Just wanted to see y-... how you were doing.

[sharpstone]

[ Her resolve is being tested even sooner than expected. Honest, huh? Fang has to swallow a chuckle. ] Reason enough for me. Can't complain, 'cept the school closed down so I've got a lot of time on my hands.

Dealing with my mun screaming at me every five minutes whenever she plays the new Dissidia game.

Yup. It'd been real quiet; guess too many students dropped out. Can't entirely blame 'em, considering it was dropping through the sky. Least it spares me some bad decisions. [ a.k.a. the game closed from low activity. ]

...Ah. Mine's not gotten the chance to get it. Is it a "what are you doing?" sort of screamin'?

Hm. You're okay with that?

That, among others. [ Like, "why're you such a clueless virgin, Lightning?" But she won't say that. ]

[sharpstone]

No. [ Blunt. ] But it's not something I can change. I don't like it, but kicking up a fuss won't do anything. I just gotta keep my eye out for the kids, even if they're not my students anymore. [ Now there's a bit of a smile. ] Hell, I always liked them better than teaching anyway.

That doesn't sound promising. What'd you do?

[ The corner of her lips quirk up a bit at that. ] At least you got that out of such an experience.

Nothing. All I do is stand and talk with the others, and all the while, she's making comments and screaming when I say something in particular to someone.

And all the bruises and headaches that come along with it. [ But she's laughing. grumble grumble, html ]

[ Honestly, it's like pulling teeth sometimes. Fang props a hand on her hip. ] That doesn't make it any clearer, Light.

Can't be much of a teacher without your students leaving some impact on you. [ Smile up! For a few seconds.

[ Then she sighs. ] She thinks I should... "pair" up with some of the people there.

I thought it was supposed to be the other way around, really.
