parents
i am confused.
they confront me about "doing something with my life" and yet when i tell them what i want to do, they say "its not a real career" and try to explain to me how art is just an "extra" in school.
So they tell me to get back into school...
to major iiiin.... (?) then the retort is "we dont know but you better major in something that makes you money".
Of course.. because thats the only thing that matters in life right? Money... doing what you want to do in life doesnt mean a thing unless your making money. =\
I still dont understand adul-wait nm im an adult now. I still dont understand other peoples perspectives with the whole money thing. Yeah i know we need it. But how is doing what you want a waste of time?
Im willing to accept a student loan to get my schooling done but the parents arent willing to back me morally or financially.
They just want me to make money. To get a "good" job, and thats pretty much it. Even if i tell em im disatisfied with what i do, im told to suck it up cause i need the money.
