Wow, first LJ post in a while!
Let's see here, what's changed since last time?
I'm single.
I have a car.
I'm in grad school, and happily/busily doing TA and Research work.
I live in a nice apartment with two roommates that is 10 minutes away from campus.
And now I'm basically... odd at the moment. I'm rarely online anymore, usually just to check Facebook and play Pet Dragons for 5 minutes a day. I'm usually at school. I want a laptop so I can just have one consistent place to do my work instead of traveling to different computer labs and having to rely on a flash drive.
I'm not sure if I'll go for a P.H.D. or not. I think I need to wait and see how my Master's goes before I make that decision. It'd be nice if I could get a company to pay for it too. I think when/if I decide to go, I'll try to apply for a really good program, and not settle for something because it's cheap, like I've done for my Bachelors.
For once, I kinda like being single. I enjoy doing my own thing and basically being where I want to be, when I want to be. Doesn't mean I'm closed off to the idea of a relationship, but it does mean that I won't desperately clamber for the first thing that shows a bit of affection toward me. I'm content with how my life is at the moment. I just hope it stays that way.
