A mixed year for me.
It started off well - We went to MONA FOMA, I finished writing my novel, Continuum was a blast. But around the mid-year everything seemed to get bogged down. I had problems sleeping. Projects stalled at work. And I stopped writing. The second half of the year felt like wading against mud.

I listened to it a few times, said 'eh' and promptly forgot it came out, other than the fact K listened to it a few times. Then one night I started watching one of the live videos (I posted it here and can find the name if you are interested) to see the lighting design (phenomenal) and I just kept it on repeat. When back to the album and it quickly became a favourite.
If I knew I'd never read it I'd post you the The Iron Dragon's Daughter sequel. That's how much I hated that book.
rewatching Blake's Seven in my 20s taught me that the show I loved as a child was not the same as the show that actually aired on tv.
You mean in the sense that it's BETTER as an adult, right?

Given that The Iron Dragon's Daughter was meant to cleanse the genre with fire, a sequel seems a bit misplaced.
I didn't enjoy rewatching Blake's Seven. The two housemates I watched it with did.

Heh. Some of your recent comments have read less like whinges and more like suicide notes. We were a little worried about you.
I know you're going though some dark stuff at the moment, even if I don't know all the details. One of the big lessons I learnt this year is that it's okay to ask for help before you hit absolute bottom. Prevention better than cure, and all that.
