If you haven't heard from me in a while, there really is a good reason. I just bought the most expensive something I've ever bought in my life.

So if I've been off radar, this is why. It is amazing how much damned, time-consuming stuff is involved in home buying. Most of you probably know that already, but I've come to it late. This is my first, at 41; spinsters without close siblings tend to wait a while for some reason - hope, maybe?
Anyway, wish me luck with it the next few months of moving and painting and cleaning and decorating, because I've heard such horror stories!
I love you all very much. Things should be livable and semi-decorated (as much as my budget allows) by December, after which time, I will welcome guests with open arms and home-cooked meals!!!
(BTW, that is not my car in the drive; that belongs to my realtor. I have a two door, and very elderly, Acura, not a mini-van. Single women also don't tend to drive mini-vans... unless they are also single moms).
