Not having any game systems myself, I'm consulting with the Ugly Couch Show boys and so far the recommendation is XBox360. Plus, I've got Sudoku and Chess on my nook. I'm seeing a Dr. tomorrow. Ba-dum-chh!
Yes, because nook is connected to B&N. Plus, it was a present.
More votes coming in for X360; "Better interface and a good online service." - Todd Agnello, video game programmer. "because everyone and their mother is on xbox 360. the games are better. the online service is better and safer. pinball fx 2" Barry Robb - website designer Both of the guys are better known to you as Bleeg and Dr. Vlarg from the Experience.
Kingdom Hearts! Not only will you be able to get out all your aggravations out by killing Heartless, you'll be squeeing and slashing the hell out of Roxas/Axel in Kingdom Hearts 2. Skip KH Chain of Memories for Game Boy. It has this weird card system for doing battle. I like the "running/slashing anything in sight" way to kill the Heartless.
Playstation 3 is a nice system but make sure you get the system that plays Playstation One and Two games. Got my son a PS3 and was surprised to find out that none of the PS2 games he has will work on the PS3. Thankfully he has a PS2 so we can play KH1 and KH2.
The first three Harry Potter games are fun on PS2. I never made it past the first level in Goblet of Fire though. And Lego Harry Potter is a hoot! Got that one for PSP. My biggest gripe is not being able to save wherever you like.
Playstation 3! I just got one, and I love it! Then you can play scary games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill, or cute Super Mario-esque games like Little Big Planet.
Plus it's a bluray player, and you can stream netflix on it (if you don't have a DVD or bluray player that does that already)
Second off, games: If you're a fan of Super Mario, that's a platformer and I suggest Psychonauts for the Xbox or PS2. It's a really creative game and is loads of fun, even if the end is ridiculously hard.
Infamous for PS3 is sort of like that, but there's no real danger of falling. You play as a superhero with electric powers.
As for survival horror like RE and SH, the first three Resident Evils are sort of boring. The remake for Gamecube is nice, though. Silent Hill 2 and 3 are scarier if you like that sort of thing. Resident Evil 4 is a must. 5 is a bit iffy, but still fun.
And if you really want to be scared, play Dead Space or Dead Space 2. Take Silent Hill and put it in an Alien setting. Terrifying. So PS2 or 3 would be your best bet.

I'll have to check it out. I wonder if they have bookworm...
You leave tomorrow, yes? Do you have reading material for the airplane?
Have a safe trip and a good time!!

Why the nook over the kindle? Will you still be able to feed it after Borders goes belly up?
