It's been months since I made a proper entry, mostly because my life is unevenful.
Well, school is starting up again and I'm not in attendence. This isn't such a terrible thing, and I don't want you all to write me off as a dropout. Not yet, anyway. I'm taking a couple terms off to get out of debt and decide what the hell I want to do with my life. Right now I owe money on student loans to the tune of 2,000 clams. Maybe I'll become a teacher. With that kind of salary I'd be able to pay off my debt within about a decade.
Other things in life are pretty damn good. My niece, Autumn, is the cutest thing ever, and is just about walking. I'm so happy to be part of her life, and I look forward to being there for her childhood. Rachel is doing really well, and is a wonderful mother despite her worries. In other news, I got my Driver's License not too long ago, and this led to a rather amusing incident this evening.
I was picking up some dinner in a drive-through, and the women working at the register looked at me and whispered to each other before handing me my food. One of them then said, "my manager thinks you're pretty cute, and we were wondering if we could get your phone number." I happily obliged them, and drove off. The whole way back to my house, Seth and I couldn't stop laughing. I don't anticipate ever getting a phone call from her, but it was a nice boost to my ego all the same.
With that, I think my self-esteem is restored and I can go forth and conquer.
