Dear Parents of Kevin Elliott:
Kevin is invited to travel and study in France, Italy and Greece in 2006. Join other outstanding high school students from the southern Tier area who are eligivle for People to People, an educational exploration program founded by President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Kevin has been recommended for the honor by a teacher, former Student Ambassador or national academic listing.
Kevin can expierience 20 days of rewarding activities and meet the people of France, Italy and Greece all while earning high school or university credit. Your local delegation will represent the United States overseas, expeirence new cultures and make lifelong friends. Success and confidence await Kevin in these and other rewarding activities:
• Rappel down a medieval castle wall as part of leadership and team training with experienced outdoor guides.
• Scale the heights of the Eiffel Tower for a lofty look at Paris, cruise the Seine River and crack the Da Vinci Code at the massive and renowned Louvre Museum.
• Island-hop in the Mediterranean, take a night cruise to Greece and dig into archaeology at ancient Athens and the ruins of Parthenon and the first Olympic Games.
• Enter the Roman Colosseum and sense the exhilaration and terror that filled the air as gladiators and beasts stepped into the arena so long ago.
