Monday Minis: Happy Birthday
"Cameron!"
"You bellowed?" Cameron stood in the kitchen doorway.
"Did we not agree that this day would go unnoticed?"
"Calm down, House." Cameron took out plates and silverware. "It's not your birthday we're celebrating."
"It's...not?"
"Nope." She scooped out some pistachio ice cream with a spoon and ran her tongue over it. "Yum." She waited for the inevitable question but then noticed how his gaze focused on her mouth. "Would you like some?"
"W-what?"
"Ice cream," said Cameron with a smirk.
He shook his head as if to clear it. "Whose birthday are we celebrating?"
"Hugh Laurie. You know, the actor? I find him hot. I'd bet he'd love all these desserts. All of them." She licked her lips.
"That's a lot of dessert for one guy. I'd bet he wouldn't be up for it."
"Really? That's a shame." She scooped out some chocolate ice cream with her finger and sucked on it. "Do you know anyone who might be?"
"I might."
