Notes: Posting a bit early.
Three of the minis on the table are new. Just make sure you've got something to eat before looking. :)
Wilson Cooks Again
Cameron leaned back in the passenger seat and closed her eyes. “I don’t want to go in.”
“Halloween,” House reminded her.
“I suppose.” Sighing, she undid her seatbelt and followed him into the apartment.
They both stood riveted in the living room and inhaled.
“Hey!” Wilson stuck his head out of the kitchen. “Wash up, I made supper.”
Instead, they followed the scent to where Wilson was putting the finishing touches on their meal.
“What’s this?” House tried to speak gruffly but his eyes betrayed lascivious interest in the spread laid out before him.
Wilson spooned peas into a bowl. “You had a hard week with that case. And you’ve been really great about me staying here, so I wanted to thank you.”
“Does that mean you’re leaving? Did you and Julie make up?” Cameron tried to keep the eagerness out of her voice.
“Ah, no.” Wilson looked crestfallen.
“Don’t worry, Wilson, you know you’re welcome here.” Cameron gave him a sympathetic smile. Then she stiffened and turned to House with big eyes. “Did you just pinch me?” she whispered.
“Yes!”
They walked out of the kitchen and House thumped his cane. “How do you expect him to leave if you keep extending the invitation?”
“Oh, don’t give me that. Maybe you wouldn’t say it, but you’d get the same point across.” Cameron sighed. “That meal looks heavenly. Does this mean we let him off the hook?”
“Not on your life. He’s keeping us from sex. Sex, Cameron. He must pay. Halloween.” He waggled his eyebrows.
Cameron laughed and went to wash her hands.
