Monday Minis: A New Toothbrush (Drabble, rated K-Plus)
"Cameron!"
"Yes?" Cameron poked her head into the bathroom.
"What's this?"
"What does it look like?"
"A toothbrush. A yellow toothbrush." House viewed it with a frown.
"Your deductive powers never fail to astonish me."
"Very funny." He waved it in front of her. "It's yellow. Yellow. We agreed I would buy our toothbrushes and yellow was not in the color scheme."
Cameron rolled her eyes. "Yes, because blue and pink are so neutral." She held up a hand to forestall him. "Relax, it's not for us, it's for Wilson."
House looked puzzled. "Wilson is having dinner at home with the she-beast, also known as Julie. So what gives?"
"I just thought it would be nice if he had his own things. You know, for when he'd stay over." She didn't quite meet his eyes.
House smirked. "You mean for the times when he and the aforementioned she-beast have a fight and he needs to crash on our couch."
A light blush spread across her cheeks. "Yes."
"Okay." He put the toothbrush away and brushed by her as he walked through the doorway. Cameron caught her breath at the contact and then followed with a grin.

Notes: Okay, after I bought the other toothbrushes I just couldn't get the yellow one out of my mind. And it occurred to me that Wilson would use it. So I went back to the store and they couldn't believe I was only there for another toothbrush. LOL
We're getting close to the time where I have to make the minis I want to have. And they will take more time. Just saying.
