Monday Minis: Experiments in Weaving (1)
Well, thanks to a friend's suggestion, I got my computer up and running so I figured I'd better take advantage and post!
I purposely did not try to make the longer length that a mini rug would be. I simply wanted to see how it would look. Due to how small the loom is, I ended up "weaving" with an embroidery needle.
I also noticed that I strung the loom too loose (as can be seen by how the "rug" is curving instead of staying straight). But I continued because I was playing with it.
This is what it looks like off the loom. The material underneath is a machine made mini rug. I might use thinner yarn or embroidery thread.
