Okay, wow. It was tense and so them. This push and pull they have in their quasi relationship.

This was perfect House. He distances himself from the patients and his only obligation is to cure them at the moments they are with him. Beyond that he couldn't care less. I think somewhere deep down he might but he gets hurt when he cares for too long.
