Persona 3 Portable

What can I say about Persona that hasn't already been said before now? Probably not much, but I'm going to talk about it anyways.

Truth be told, since I own FES and gotten through most of the game, I was originally going to get this second remake. But as soon as I saw on the japanese website that there was going to be a female main character, there was no way I could pass this up. Seriously, why couldn't have done this for The Golden as well?

You may ask why I needed it. Simply because throughout most of FES I was there wishing I was a girl. It's simply the projection aspect of the game. Being a girl, I don't have an easy time projecting on male leads. I don't have a slong, and it's something I don't even want to bother imagining for myself.

So being able to play as a female was a big thing to me. It was like my fangirl cries were finally answered. Since of course there were guys I'd have much rather hound after then the girls. Namely Akihiko and Shinji. (๑´ლ`๑)♡ If I remember correctly the only other potentially romances are Ken and Aegis. Though I can be wrong.

Enough about that, on to the changes!

First thing is that the game takes out free roam other then inside Tartarus. Though even then this is excluding the lobby. If memory serves me correctly, even some of the full moon free roaming is taken out. Pretty much they exchanged it with a point and click adventure.

It can seem kind of boring, I'll admit, but it does end up cutting down a great deal if roaming time. In P3P you can quickly click and check who js available for a social link that day. While in FES you'd have to traverse floors and buildings to check everywhere. This actually ending up cutting 10-15 hours of the game for me.

The other big thing is being able to actually use your other party menbers. I can't believe how much I've raged at my retarded party members in FES. ヽ(。_゜)ノ Like wasting magic on shadows that are almost dead; wasting heals or not healing when needed; using mass spells when only one monster is weak against that spell; worst of all healing bosses or standing there doing nothing. Needless to say, taking out that random factor is so helpful.

So if you're into playing an awesome JRPG, then look up any of the Persona 3 or 4 games. All are worth your money and time.
