So the trip was off, because of pending weather. Hotel canceled. All that jazz.
But wait mom still wants to go maybe if the freezing rain doesn't pass over the area. Even though we canceled everything. And said we weren't going. Kay, whatever I guess.
Then today, it's as sunny as it was yesterday. Not a sound of freezing rain all night.
Guess we're going now, right?
Nope, since dad has too much work to do still. Which is like, err... what? He's had how many days at work to get through what's needed for the next half of his classes, but he still needs more time? Well I guess that's fair enough.
If it didn't bug me that we planned this trip. He knew about it. Her knew he needed to work more on his classes.
Why not... go to school in the evening and work on your bloody teaching stuff then? Rather then wasting your time on WoW, and then screwing us over like this.
His brilliant plan to overcome his own idiocy is taking a plane in tonight and coming back tomorrow night. Which is kind of pathetic. A bit of a waste of money mostly. And all the people we wanted to see, well fuck them. All we need is to come in, sleep, shop, go home.
I dunno, maybe I'm being a bit spoiled but it seemed like a major crop out. And what, he's a college professor yet he can't make bloody due dates? Really, hello, if you know we're planning something either way for a certain day, you should put the time needed to work it out.
It seems like something an elementary schooler would know. But... ugh, maybe I'm getting to worked up about it.
Speaking of elementary school... I had a really weird dream that I was TAing at Henderson. Which seemed really realistic for a short while. Then
Alan of all people showed up. And then it became obvious that it was just a dream. xD; Other idiocy passed, but it wasn't really anything exciting.
Just makes me ponder about doing some charity work at the school like Chen is. It may look good on my job/school applications and such. Which I'm thinking of giving to the hospital to be a cook or something once the summer months roll around.
John suggested it last visit. And I think it might be a good idea.
