Rambling Pt.3

Here's a link to parts one and two for anyone who'd like to take a look.

My human boys, Hyaro (his name has been changed so many times now xD) and Rio. I've drawn them a few times, yet they mainly remain on my old SA account and off the net. Didn't shade in their hair so I could have a basic reference of the flow and form.

Humans were created by the goddess of Order Aylena (her name bluntly means 'Order'), who is the twin to Ashta. She purposely made them the opposite of the eldraos, who were created in the images of the gods, and made them avatars of order and rules.

They lacked any kind of emotion at their birth. For Aylena believed in perfect order and any rule breakers were punishable by death. So humans for a good deal of years were pretty much emotionless beings that followed a prime objective. Growth.

The human continent is located in the northeastern areas of the map. Covered in mountains and mineral rich soils. As eldraos were taught to live with nature, humans were given the objective to cut through the land.

Both deities gave their race the ability to create as they do. Eldraos through their magic. Humans through their knowledge.

With the mass amounts of mountains, humans found metals and the like to build up their empire. Their homes cut of stone from the land, study and standing the tests of the weather. They continued to build and expand. Even in modern times humans are primarily known for their advances in weaponry and bettering everyday life.

Hy comes from a blacksmithing family as well. He worked the smelts for a great deal with his mother, crafting his the very sword he using in battle.

Back tracking a bit, I'd like to explain on how the humans expanded from their emotionless state. Since humans wished to grow their empire and find everything that knowledge could grant them, they were the first to create ships. Eldraos at this time, had no interest in seeing beyond the sea. It was simply a place to fish and the likes. They weren't interested in seeing beyond what they had. The eldraos were content with their lives.

The humans marched onto the new lands of the other race they shared the world with, trampling the flowers and plants the eldraos had worked so hard to grow. The adults were frightened, dubbing them 'metal demons'. In truth, that name wasn't too far off. One day, a group of children throw rubbish at the invading hoard of monsters.

They were seen as enemies, no better then wild animals, and slaughtered.

Ashta, the deity who protected her children with all her heart unlike her sister, was enraged to see these mortals draped in metal begin to run blood across the lands she had worked so hard creating for her children. So with that, she placed a 'curse' of sorts upon the human race. So that they could feel sadness, and regret the actions they took.

This curse though, touched her own children as well. For the eldraos were only meant to feel happiness. But seeing the unkindly murder of their friends, land, and children, brought upon negative emotions upon them as well.

The goddess of chaos, Ashta, always was part of their lives. Dancing and singing with her children. Giving them hope and light. Granting their wishes and prayers. Letting the crops grow tall, and their children be health.

But when they fell pray to her own means to punish the humans, they became greedy. They wanted more. Were pleased with little. Begging and asking for more.

Her powers declined from their greed. Realizing soon she was killing herself simply to see her children smile. Yet the difficulty to do so only continued to increase.

Finally, Ashta gave up. Realizing that the eldraos would have to stand on their own, as the humans did. To live a life without her blessing. But she was frightened, for Ashta was nothing like her sister. Playing with her children gave her emotions and attachment to her creations.

She feared their hate. But most of all, she feared they'd forget. The blessing of life she gave them.

Ashta in the end left her children behind, telling them, 'I will watch over you. But you must stand on your own. I will guide you. But you must listen. I will accept your hate. And your sins. Though if you forget me, I will die and be reborn a new. And I will punish you for your betrayal.'

Hmm, that's it for now. I may still draw Alucard and Moon. Then maybe finish my little back story of the world.
