Bank sorted, dinner at Doolins, last day here boohoo

bank announces that they DID authorise payment to Creation. Creation are now checking...but as today is Thanksgiving probably going to be waiting a day or so to find out what's what.
still can't do online banking because they have reset my passcode and I won't get that until I get home (they send it snail mail of course) so can;t check balances or pay bilss remotely as I would normally, and it did take 45 mins on the phone to convince the bank that any of this was a problem that they had to fix, two delightful young men were really great and one woman was bloody useless. However in the grand scheme of things at least I have money and can access my account at the ATM. Good job I'm not overseas for months though since they seemed unable to grasp (the woman) that sending my passcode to my address in England was completely useless when I am NOT THERE! She did suggest I could discuss this at my local branch - but as I pointed out that was not so easy when it nealy 7,000 miles away!!

Last day in Vancouver with my ever grecious host candygramme and last night we went out and met up with the adorable splashpink at Doolins and had dinner, and generally hung out...thanks for the cookie darling.
Off to enjoy the rest of my day
