Over the last few days I have tried to contact you by telephone but unfortunately I have been unable to reach you.
Your car has been inspected by an independent engineer and it is uneconomical to repair. Before I am able to deal with your claim I need you to send me the following documents:
The car's vehicle registration document, also known as the V5 or log book.
The current MOT test certificate.
A copy of your driving licence including the paper counterpart.
The purchase receipt, if one is available.
It is best to keep photo copies of anything you send us. As soon as I receive your documents I will call you immediately but if I can be of any further help, please call.
Yours sincerely

but the car was valued by them at £6.995.00 just 3 months ago
Also...contact?? Not so much. No phone call and no missed calls according to my landline or mobile.
Have responded asking them to call me to discuss this further - I want to know the exact costings involved. As it is my car I think I do have a right to know don't I? After all what else was I paying 25 pounds a month for???
In better news I am off to Creation Con in Chicago on Friday and then to visit the ever lovely
candygramme in Vancouver afterwards
I do win at some things *sigh*
