Loads of happy pills ii.

Lenka has the cutest minipiano (or whatever it is called :D) !
Seeing Lenka in person when she was here in 1 Utama, makes me happy. Because of the most awesome friend on earth who has an awesome job, I was only a few meters inches away from Lenka. How unexpected! Our knees were against the stage, I guess that would explain the distance? Next to me was a gabazilion of dslrs and gigantic lenses. Poor Yewchin! She keeps getting slapped in the face (unintentionally la of course haha) by the photographer next to her who has a very long lens thingy attached to his camera.

Lenka is damn cute and her voice is even cuter! She can even blow the trumpet, how talented is that! One of her bandmates reminds me of Alex from Madagascar. Yewchin LOLed when I told her this hahahahaha but he does look a bit like Alex! :P The nicest part was, of course, when Lenka sang "The Show" and all the fans sang "I want my money back" repeatedly in unison. Lenka is very pretty for a 30 year-old I'd say. For me, her songs are like cuter version of Regina Spektor's.

Oh and we even manage to watch Aliff Aziz sing for the opening. We do not know who is this Aliff guy is, but he is so cute; the kinda cute that we wanna keep him in our pockets and bring him home! Amy Mastura was also there for the opening! When I was a little girl, my Sarawakian kakak, Emma, sings her song all the time, and I've always heard about her name and see her in tv. I used to wonder how come Emma can predict what's coming out from the radio (when she sings along).. Then I happen to discover the meaning of the word "lyrics". :D Well, seeing Amy Mastura certainly relives the Emma memories in me. So it's quite happy also. Haha.

Lenka singing / Lenka playing / Lenka singing The Show, and my ginormous good sign heh heh!
And as I was driving home feeling very lonely but still happy... I was tuning in to Red.fm because I love their Late Night Love Songs.... When I was reaching my condo, Atlantic Starr's Always on the radio! It has also make me happy because just a few nights ago I was watching Aj Rafael & Kat Badar's cover of Atlantics Starr's - Always on youtube! ( Click ) Throughout the song, I was wondering to myself, what if I called in and dedicate the next song to the people whom I care about. Then *BAM* the minute the song ended, DJ Nisha read out a dedication via text and it was from someone named Sharon! What kind of coincidence is this?! Right after that, Michael Buble's Home came on when I was just 2 blocks aways from my condo. I tell you, jiwang til the max. Emotions was everywhere, I do not know how to describe it.

HOHUM!

Nonetheless, keywords for the week:
(to stick 'em in my head forever)
  1. Effortless!
  2. Nonchalant!
  3. Presentable!

I love how August 09 started off with a stretch of happy dandy things at one go, seeing that July was a rather sad month. Thank you Lord. :)
