Day 3 in London; done a lot of walking, and eating. Oh. and shivering. LOL.. Weather's a bitch not because it's cold but because it's so effing dry.
As I'm typing this my bro and cousin is watching Big Bang Theory upstairs. I like this house we're staying in. Will try to take pics. God is good. Flight was smooth and all I remember is eating and eating and sleeping and then eating again. I watched movies and series and listened to so many songs. Eva Cassidy and Diana Krall made my flight experience complete. :D
It's nice to go out everyday knowing that the public transport is least likely to fail you; people here are so well-dressed. I tend to want to buy everything that I like. But my cousin's veryyyy good at doing damage control. Day 3 in London and I've NOT stepped into Topshop yet. LOL this is an achievement. Or I'll say it's like a breakthrough. As my cousin's always say: Topshop will always be here, it's not gonna collapse or go bankrupt!
I actually like how I'm so away from the computer and so un-attached to the internet because even my phone is obsolete here. It means I have a life. LOL... There are many times when I wanted to tweet or write something here but being away from the computer automatically cancels everything out. Eddie Tan still doesn't have a clue that I'm here in the UK. And it's gonna be FUNNNNNN. I think he senses it somehow but still, he's not 100% sure of it.
Day 1 was spent strolling around my cousin's place; took the tube and went to Covent Garden. Had late lunch in Belgo's. It was amazing. Later that day it started to drizzle a little (we brought the rain with us, haha) and so we went to Selfridges.co.
Day 2 we went to Leicester Square and Picadilly... Spent time at the park and looked at some celeb's handprints. Then to Regent/Oxford Street and saw all things interesting. So many power brands here; didn't buy anything. Well done, Shazza! Then off to Westminster because the sun came out to play. :D
Saw London Eye and the Houses of Parliament. Then to the park where there were a LOT of street art. Came back home and Kenny cooked us dinner. Jamie Oliver's recipe.. My cousin is amazing. A big guy like him loves cooking and he always makes sure I'm well fed. Or actually, overfed.
We weighed ourselves on Day 1; hoping to see that I'll leave UK with more weight. Kenny you better do a good job and make my parents happy. :D
Tata for now!
