i can't believe we're actually out. in our own place. this had been THREE YEARS in the making, people! yes our place is farther than you ever thought you could drive down La Palma, but it's well worth it. the giant kitchen, the TWO bedrooms/baths, the fireplace, the fact that i can walk around the house w/out a bra on...seriously haven't been able to do that in 3 years. i feel like i've been liberated. it's so nice and quiet (with the exception of the occasional train & the Asian guy upstairs who plays old Hymns). i love love love it. you have no idea how many treasures i've found through opening boxes that i haven't seen in years. AND to think...i MIGHT actually be able to read a book!! i just figured out the AC (thank goodness)...now i need a cable guy to come out here. i've got my Dad's mini fridge in the trunk, gonna take it home after work & plug it in...then it's official. Caleb didn't sleep very well, though : ( He woke up at 3am and wouldn't go back to sleep unless he was in bed with us, oh wells. i'm freaking exhaused...BUT i don't even care, i'm deliriously unpacking and discovering newness in old things, YAY! i had no idea that finding my silverware would be so exillerating. AND i heard it's getting cooler this weekend...maybe drizzle on Monday *let's hope*. I found a signal for my internet to bum off of, but it won't connect to the internet still...we'll see what happens. i can't wait to get back home and organize more things!!!! yippeeee!
