Last week I got sidetracked by some personal business and some professional business and lost a major quotient of writing Mo. That is not cool.
"You give that back!"
So when lilac_wine invited others to join her in the Seventy Days of Sweat writing project, I accepted the invite.
I'm going to commit to writing the first draft of my current WIP. I know what the major conflict is for the overall story (social conflict) and what the important outcome is for the story (secret)... but how the plot weaves the social conflict into the personal conflicts of the characters (of whom I have at least five or six already) resulting in the (secret) outcome, I do not yet know.
No way to find out except by writing and seeing how it turns out.
If my story will end up being 80,000 words, that's about 4.5 pages per day. I can do that.
