Blind Assassin, Margaret Atwood

This is an excellent book. I was not quite prepared for its dark, moody, sister dynamic theme, for personal reasons... but it was extremely well written. Wish my book club was reading it so I had others to talk about it with. Not really clear on events, since she hints at so much without explaining. Like, was there ever anything between Laura and Alex? Why exactly did Laura drive off the bridge? And why did Iris blame herself? I can't see it as her fault.

A bit too moody for right now, though. I must give the Atwood shelf a rest and find something less vibey for a bit.
