I am slightly hesitant to post this new vid, as I'm basically very unhappy with the way it's turned out. In fact there's only about one scene at the very end that I'm quite pleased with. I'll give you a clue, it's a clip from asylum, with Ray. This clip is the only reason I'm posting this vid at all:) The premise of the vid is sort of from COTW

Thank you. I'd actually been backing some of my vids onto CD and when I was playing it back the end clip just shot off the screen rather quickly which rather surprised me; when I'm playing it in my player on the computer it stays on the last image.
On my computer, that last clip has always shot off the screen quickly, just as you describe. Now it stays on the last image. So it's just right.
So have you been writing lots of Ray angst then?*G*
Oh, um...I don't know, really. I certainly have been writing lots of RayK. I just don't know how angsty it is at the moment. I'm probably too close to it to evaluate it. I am working on my first story for getfraserlaid and hope to finish it soon. There's some Fraser angst in that one. Ray has his moments, but it's all in Fraser's POV, so I wouldn't call it Ray angst. After that I have a second piece which should not be angsty at all. I can't make Ace Leary fic angsty, nor would I want to. :)
I'm working on a long crackficcy piece that will have Ray angst in it somewhere, yes, but it's much more than that. And it's LONG. Novella-length. It's a collaboration, but I'm doing most of the writing.
I have some other stuff that might be waiting for the flashfiction amnesty to come around, because I don't write flash flashfiction--by which I mean I can never make the deadlines! I seem to be able to write only long fiction. :) There's some Ray angst in some of the pieces.
I guess I'm hedging because I don't write dark stories. I need these two guys to have a happy ending or I don't find it sufficiently believable. I think they are all about the happy ending, the redemption, the riding-off-into-the-sunrise.
Eventually all this stuff will get posted. *sigh*

I thought that was finished, shows how much I know:)

I look forward to reading them all when they get posted*G* I'm busy working on another angsty vid. I however, seem to be having more angst about making the vid than the characters do in it, which doesn't seem fair:)

I don't like reading them either:-)

Well that's good, plenty for me to read then*G*

justbreathe80 said the deadline was flexible, and I took her at her word. :) But I'm not abusing it, I think, because I don't toss off short little pieces. Wish I could! My stories are long, they're edited in multiple passes and made as spiffy as I can get them before they get posted. No toss-offs, ever. So they take some time, you know?

They will be, eventually. Promise!

No, it sure doesn't! *hugs you* But don't worry about how a vid will be received. That is SO not the thing to worry about in the creative stage. It can't help you; it can only plug up the channel of inspiration.
I'm glad to hear you're still vidding, though!! F/K, I hope? Great news for us! All we have to do is click and enjoy!

They're pretty hard for me to read in this fandom. Once in a while I will read them, because there are some with tremendous artistry, but, you know, the better written they are, the more they hurt! I don't think I can stand to reread "The End of the Road," for example, as impressive as it is. There are death stories that are easier to tolerate than the tragedy of Ray and Fraser both living but not being together. And I don't prefer reading death stories, either! Anyway, though I may write crackfic that some people will put on their "don't read" list for certain themes (threesomes, or mild noncon, for example) I will probably never, ever write deathfic or dark fic in this fandom. I just don't want to go there, emotionally.

The piece I'm working on now is already 19,000 words long and nowhere near finished. Novella-length. So, yeah...eventually I should have reams of fic to offer. I'll rewatch your vids (as I do anyway) and maybe one of these days you'll see a fic from me that credits you for the inspiration. :)

Oh well, she should know:) I just had noticed they seemed to be trying to get Frannie Laid now.

I've got way too many songs to vid to actually stop for any length of time:)
F/K, I hope?
As a matter of fact that one is. I've got around 10 in progress. I keep hearing songs I want to vid when I'm walking around shopping, so hopefully, I'll manage to finish some of the ones in progress before I hear anymore I want to vid; I'd hate to have to quit shopping*G*

I've never read that one. I take it, it doesn't have a happy ending? I think I'll pass on reading it then. I don't mind reading angst but I want my happy ending and if it's major angst, it must have a really happy ending*G*

Wow. I find it hard to visualise words what's that in pages (if you don't mind me asking)? It sounds long whatever it is. I find it hard to imagine spending that long writing anything. You must really enjoy it.

Well, that's one reason to keep vidding; more vids=more stories to read:-)
