random boring life :D
I worked today, it was really good :) I love working Saturday afternoons because all the older people have already come in and got their prescriptions and I don't have to interact with anyone much. Pretty much I come in, sign in, say hi chit chat for a bit then start emptying the bins, a job I enjoy because a) I get to wear cool gloves and b) because I get to go past ocean master and 9 times out of 10 someone will be out having a smoke and I can talk to them :) after the bins someone is generally making coffee, at which point we stand around in the despencary and gossip and drink our coffee, after that I finish putting away the order (if the morning staff haven't finished it). After that, I go to the "WEEKEND JOBS LIST" and find out whats to do. For instance today, we got in our huge shipment of winter "nessecities" Eg. Duro-tuss lozengers Difflam C demazin etc etc. We usually pool together with Ainslie Pharmacy (our sister pharmacy) so we get better discounts. So today I had to mark off the order and seperate our stuff into boxes and Ainslie's stuff into boxes. This took me about 2 hours. After that the next thing on the list was so to make little price tag things that sit on the shelf in the display cabnates so that was a lot of cutting and pasting and fun :) I also made the Easter trading hours sheets that sit in the window. After that I vacuumed and closed the tills, counted the money and turned off the lights and wiped down the dispensary. This took a 5 hour shift. The cool thing about today was that it was a constant stream of work, but wasn't overly tasking so I had 5 hours to think. I had a good day :D
